I have encountered the same issue.
It looks like a lack of image filtering.

    My monitor resolution is 4K.

I’m glad it’s not very noticeable in dynamic games, but it is in static scenes, or on the desktop: with fonts, small details.

For example, Virtual Desktop’s in-app desktop streaming doesn’t have this issue – no matter what resolution I use – image is clear and not shimmering, like on normal monitor.

When using Quest 3 touch controllers with Vorpx button mapping, can the grip buttons be remapped? Currently the left grip is used for shift remapping the buttons, and the right grip is used for edgepeek in VorpX, and I would like to be able to disable edgepeek, or remap the right grip so it doesn’t activate the edgepeek.

The remap buttons section of the Vorpx in-game menu doesn’t seem to have a field to remap the the grip buttons.

I know that the edgepeek button can be mapped in the section ‘In-Game Key Bindings’ of VorpX, but that would then change the edgepeek for all profiles, not just one.

As another solution, you can use the option “Use controllers as gamepad” in Virtual Desktop before switching to VorpX. This way, you will be able to use all buttons of a traditional gamepad from your Meta controllers (D-pad is also accessible via the thumbrest touch button).

Yes, that’s the SBS mode vorpX handles.

The way vorpX does it is actually even a bit better than half width SBS normally would be since images are always rendered at full width first and then scaled down to half width when drawing the SBS image, resulting in a 2×1 supersampled image with more preserved detail compared to directly rendering at half width.

So vorpX is actually rendering a full SBS image? Please let us choose to just display that image. Currently, rendering games in 1080p on a 1080p full SBS (3840×1080) monitor results in unreadable text. I need to go to at least 1440p for text to be readable which is very demanding and it sounds unecessary if the image is actually already rendered in full SBS and having to scale it back and forth is what destroys the image quality.

You can use SBS (2:1) + Stretch screen (aspect ratio option) = Normal 3D

Head tracking working only when game is hooked, but not in desktop mode.

I tried to re-enabling head tracking, and adjusting sensitivity – no result.

I’ll check the head tracking issue. Should work normally. Double check whether maybe sensitivity is set to 0.

Hi, head tracking is not working in the desktop mode on the latest v.24.1.0 :C
