AaronclsParticipant
Tried both TEV2 profiles but 3D does not seem to work. The single profile for part 1 does work, Z3D.
AaronclsParticipantI tried hooking PCSX2 to Vorpx before and while successful, no 3D options were available. Just in-headset flatscreen.
Is this still the same?AaronclsParticipantFinally tried this recommendation and it worked wonderfully.
Definitively better performance with DX12 it seems, and clarity too.
Need powerful gear to push this but the quality is excellent. To answer my own question above, it does work the same with Rise of the TR. Though shadows seem to become quite offset in that one.
DX12 mode seems to cap at 60fps even you force it off via Nvidia Control panel. Chime in if you know how to bypass this.
AaronclsParticipantThanks, folks. Will check it out.
2 quick questions:
Is it safe to assume this method could work on Rise of the Tomb Raider as well?
And is the stereoscopic improved with DX12 somehow? I had previously noticed it to be a bit inferior to Vorpx’s native G3D.AaronclsParticipantI recently played Metroid Prime 1 and it looked really, really good.
Prime 2 also looked nice, but there seems to be a bug that crashes the game at a specific point and its a known Dolphin issue.
Prime 3 I tested and it was ok, though I didnt play long.I remember also trying Legacy of Kain Bloodomen 2 and it was just flat, no 3D at all.
AaronclsParticipantSounds good, sir.
Will keep an eye out for these classics and let you know.AaronclsParticipantHello RJK, just a quick heads up.
Just nabbed these oldie gems from steam but when I tried this cloud profile with the 3 games, the 3D does not seem to be working.
Fog disabled and resolution patched (thanks btw). But the 3D options does not seem to have any effect.AaronclsParticipantGot it and works great. Thank you, sir.
I think this is the first profile I see on the Kex engine.
Wondering if it would work on other Nightdive Studios remasters.
They have a bunch of classics I would like to experience (Blood Fresh Supply, Forsaken, Powerslave Exhumed, etc.)AaronclsParticipantWas not able to find the remastered profile on the cloud, only see the one using DGVoodo2 – Z3D which is probably for the original.
AaronclsParticipantthe VR mode that IO Interactive included on Hitman 3 (EGS, Steam). It is the same one that they released on PSVR about a year ago.
AaronclsParticipantOnce again, thanks.
This is very decent Soulesque title with a solid, eldritch-in-space atmosphere.
I was using another profile from the cloud but I have a feeling this one is going to be even better.AaronclsParticipantOh man, awesome.
RJk, have you tried Hitman (1,2)3 on its “legit” VR?
It’s kinda clunky and extremely blurry but still, very enjoyable.AaronclsParticipantthank you, sir.
Now I have a really good reason to get that game!AaronclsParticipantAmazing. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication, Ralf.
You are a hero to all of us!AaronclsParticipantHey Dellrifter,
You were right on the money, changing the option for the new upscaling / sharpness method worked.
Did not work on Full; but Off, Low and Medium did enable G3D back on.Note however that after changing some G3D properties (3D strength) Medium setting also got the lines, leaving me now with only Off and Low. Which work very well, btw.
Quick question, would it be possible to correct the dynamic light issue at some point?
Shadows aren’t really that important, but the light can really make the image (sunlight and moonlight specially).
Or would this seem like something unattainable at the moment?Thank you so much for your support with this profile, man. We really appreciate it.
