CheekyfellaParticipantHowever i am still getting lots of visual issues ranging from the screen just turning black and staying black to the 3d effect going completely wrong with the two images being in the wrong place and overlapping incorrectly making the game unplayable.
I have to turn the 3d effect to off and then back on again in order to reset the view back to normal.
This is happening quite frequently probably around 10 times an hour.
I would appreciate any help that someone can give me in order to fix this game breaking issue.
CheekyfellaParticipantI have found that if i deselect the option for Vorpx to change the resolution automatically the flashing issue has gone.
CheekyfellaParticipantYou need to roll back your nvidia driver to 577.00. I have the same issue with my 5090 and that was the fix for me.
CheekyfellaParticipantThis might be a 5090 issue because thats the card that i have
CheekyfellaParticipantI had the same issue with the latest nvidia driver 580.88. I rolled the driver back to the previous version and now vorpx is working again.
CheekyfellaParticipantI played GTA online using Vorpx and i did in fact receive a ban and lost everything. So i would definitely not recommend playing online.

CheekyfellaParticipantI have been using the Generic 3D Display setting on a 4k Samsung TV and I am really happy with the results. I also have Tridef and I have compared it to Vorpx and I would say Vorpx is the option I am going to use going forward. I hope Ralf can officially support the Generic 3D Display and get Vulkan and OpenGL working.
CheekyfellaParticipantRalf – do you think it would be possible to add a disable within Vorpx, the same as in the native VR apps, so that I don’t have to keep enabling and disabling SLI?
I know its a bit lazy of me but I thought I would ask anyway. ;)
CheekyfellaParticipantI assume from the lack of replies it means that everyone is running this game perfectly.
I constantly need to rerun the DirectVR scan just to be able to play; which of course ruins the immersion. I can only speculate that the memory addresses that this game uses shifts from time to time.Any help or advise that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
CheekyfellaParticipantHey prinyo – you can use the Battlefield 1 profile in Tridef to give a very nice 3d effect on a TV.
CheekyfellaParticipantI had the same issue with Dishonored and downloaded the cloud profile to get Direct VR to work. However after I died Direct VR stopped working and I had to revert to standard head tracking.
CheekyfellaParticipantI am still unable to get Vorpx to work with Farcry 3. I have tried running it in DX9, mode but the Oculus headset just says that “Farcry.exe is taking a while to load”, even though it is running perfectly well on my monitor.
Has anyone been able to find a solution to this?
CheekyfellaParticipantOkay, I have just set the resolution to 1920×1080 and when I select the pipboy the screen still goes to the top left but is much larger. It looks as though the box is a set size in pixels and is not being scaled up to match the resolution.
CheekyfellaParticipantHi Ralf
Yes, I have had to use the edge peek mode to see the screen, but even in then it still displays it as a small box in the top left corner.
