Hey Ralf.
I was really hoping you would see this thread.
And, am very pleased you will look at it.(time and things permitting.)
Just really pleased theres a chance of an official true VR profile.
For myself, and the ton of others loving Valheim. Thanks again.
Andy.DaynParticipantHey Ogrescar.
Sorry it took this long to reply, and thank you. Been a rough couple of weeks.
Thanks for the feedback.
Some of what you said is beyond me.Ill be honest with over 5 million seats sold now on Steam, a record breaking amount of players each day, and (again) its a Unity game.
And now that Valheim even has 1st person mods that work, pretty much flawlessly.
Especially the one by “kailen37”
(Even though I am a fan of 3rd person VR.) But this mod allows for changing between the views.I am surprised it hasn’t got an official VorpX profile now, with the implementations you mentions addressed.
Hers hoping one rolls along.
I have no doubt it will be well received.DaynParticipantHello Ogrescar, and thank you so much.
Forgive me for not explaining myself. And you are so right, on PDs YT, he does say it is “doable” in all three modes. But that he in only plays in immersive screen.
After reading your post, I just tried it. And though its not perfect, and like he says, It cant be configured in full VR to see the menu, or the UI.
It wass still fantastic to be able to see my home in full VR.
It would be awesome to have an “officially done playable VorpX profile” for full VR.
And seeing as its being touted as “one of the hottest games in the world” ATM.
Would bring a lot of people ValheimVR fun. 🤞🏼Thank you again for pointing this out.💎
DaynParticipantHi Guys.
I saw Paradise Decay’s You Tube on Valheim.
But his profile, is not “real” VR. Its Virtual Cinema. And I apologise, if this is in any way a really basic, obvious question/answer.
Im only just starting again with VorpX, after a long time away.
So very much a beginner again. If there is already a real profile, if someone could let me know.
Or, and is Ralf reads this, is there going to be an official one please.
Its an awesome game. But in real VR it would be incredible.Every time I play I just wish I could “go into the world.”
Any feedback on this, would be really appreciated.
Thanks.DaynParticipantHey.
Thank you Ralf, And no problem, about the copy paste. Sorry I didn’t see it myself.
Thank you for the help.
Andy.

Thank you so much kdhiin.
I haven’t had chance to get onto SKyrim passed couple day, but I will be trying both your excellent suggestions and BrillBills.I now just need to get answers to the small screen in head tracking.
And alas its not the zoom, I have adjusted every parameter in the control panel. I Haven’t tried the advanced options set yet. But cant see that being the issue. And also the Xbox buttons assignment. Buttons not working when trying to activate the default pad scheme but with Skyrim support off, (to enable head tracking) and trying to emulate the same controls in VorpX.
Ralf If you read this. Could you give your opinions on the small-screen issue, and the pad layout please.

I have tried Immersive First Person. Sorry by “Immersive camera” I meant that mod.
But I just had a look at your “old post” and see that you have put some instructions. I will have a go later, and if its OK with you, will let you know how I get on.
Thank you again man. I really appreciate you taking the time to try to help.
DaynParticipantWell with the help of your good self, and your FAQ on why games wont start.
I finally got it working. Thanks Ralf.
Awesome program.
DaynParticipantOK fixed.
I downloaded new drivers for my GPU, and that auto put my Vive into Clone mode.
Yep I was barking up the wrong tree all this time changing the display in Windows, when it should have been the Nvidia control panel. So a lesson learned. The hard way.
But seeing as I couldn’t see an option for deleting this post.
Maybe it might help some other bod in the same pickle.
Now Skyrim is running as sweet as a nut.
And brother its freaky how real it is, when NPCs are life size.DaynParticipantHey Ralf, thanks for the reply.
I did look at the VorpX settings before, and will be having a good read through in a little.
There were 3 issues. With your help, 2 are solved.
1, Vive is now chosen.
2, I will ignore the “run Skyrim in both HMD and monitor” popup. But I cannot got into Skyrim because it keeps saying..
““Failed to initialize renderer.
Unknown error creating the renderer.”I have set the Vive extended desktop.
And set the Vive to primary display.
I have also gone into VorpX and in the profile for Skyrim, have ticked use 1280×1024 resolution.
I still get the render error popup.
I have also then, gone into Skyrim startup options and selected 1080×1920. Still the popup.
I even tried flipping the landscape screen, (I read a post somewhere saying something about this.) But all that did was turn my Vive environment upside down.Any help please.
And sorry for all the questions, but Skyrim is THE game I want to work.
And this is also great learning for other games. Thanks Ralf.
DaynParticipantHello. ☺
Well I,m just trying to get my first game on working on Vive with VorpX.
Skyrim…. the main reason I wanted a HMD. Anyhoo.I have run into 2 problems.
I keep getting this message “vorpx could not initialize your Oculus Rift. it reported.”
But I dont own an oculus. (Never have). I have a Vive.
And also its saying it will run Skyrim in both HMD and monitor, and says “This may not run acceptable.” or words like that.
Help please Ralf, your my only hope.
DaynParticipantThat is all I needed to know.
Purchase incoming.
Thanks for the feedback Ralf.
DaynParticipant@Ralf.
Hi. I was about to post a thread similar to this started by jjensson, just to ask about updates.
So Im pleased he did, and you responded with the info about being “It’s very alive and kicking”One quick question, and forgive it if its obvious.
But before I get my copy of VorpX, as I have just received my Vive. The next updates will also include ongoing Vive fixes and features etc?
Just making sure. Thanks for any feedback.
DaynParticipantBrilliant reply Creep. You totally helped me as well. And gave all the info I was looking for.
Thanks Man.

And great news regarding more games to be added in future updates.
