What you can do if for some reason the uninstaller behaves odd for you and you want to switch between the mod and monitor gaming is disabling the mod like a manually installed one. Just remove the vpxCP2077.asi from your [CP2077]\bin\x64\plugins folder and the vpxCP2077 folder from [CP2077]\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods.

Probably some weird conflict with another mod you have installed.

    Found the problem

CET was already installed and the mod includes 3 files
    global.ini
    LICENCE
    version.dll

which goes in the same directory as the game exe file

After deinstalling the VR mod it deinstalls CET too, as mentioned before but it keeps the version.dll in the exe folder.

Copying back the CET mod, or deleting the dll let me start the game again.
Maybe a hint in the installation that CET if used before needs to be installed again. If you hadn’t said it here in the forum I never would have guessed this would be installed along as I had CET already in the game folder.

That worked for now. Odd thing is, I removed all mods and the CET folder and it wouldn’t start.

Removed CET and all other mods which worked fine before I installed the VR mod.

Is that replicable? I.e. does it always happen?

Yes it does. Tried it 3 times now. One last thing I want to try is, setting the ingame video/graphic settings back to standart. Setting resolution to phenomenal in the vr tool changed the resolution to a odd value, also fov was beeing able to cramp way beyond 125°. Dunno if this messed up the game, when deinstalling.

Nope, nothing helped. Removed all mods and changes. Guess I need to redownload again.

It just won’t start anymore. When I install the mod back again, it works. Deinstalling, it doesn’t.

    Thx for creating this MOD.

Could i uninstall this Standalone mod if if wanted without affecting the 2D Version ?

I see its a installer but does it also uninstall correct again so i do not have to reinstall Cyberpunk2077 then?

You have to reinstall. At least I have to. (playing on GOG Galaxy)
Deinstalling the mod won’t let you start the game anymore. Hitting play it greys out then it stops, cloudsync, playbutton available again. Installing the mod again, and the game starts.

So something seems missing after deinstallation, or changed so the game won’t know how to start. Already tried verify/repair, it downloaded 36mb but still no luck. Now I have to completely redownload the game to play in 2D again.

I told the guys on youtube, that’s too much effort in free mod. I already thought they expect too much. They hope LukeRoss will add Weapon and Bodytracking, but i don’t think so.

He won’t as he also makes his mods with keeping the gameplay untouched.

    @Ralf

Some guys on youtube are missing a weapon and bodytracking ! Why was it not possible to add that to your Mod ? Personally i will play it with a xbox controller, and i don’t need this feature. Aren’t there enough vorpx user that are using motion controller ?

Motion controllers or body tracking can’t just be “put” in, you would need to remove all integrated animations but keep then ones used in cutscenes in (when your character is interacting with someone or the enviroment), adjusting/fixing the playermodel. This would need way more time and programming to make it work propperly.

24th. Would have loved it to be a bit earlier than that, but there is still a bit of work to do until it’s ready for release.

Got it. Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Will it release exactly on 24th or maybe even earlier (today?)? :)
