Participantresurrecting a zombie thread fits to the game ;)
Dead Island Steam needs to rename the DeadIslandGame.exe to DeadIslandGame_x86_rwdi.exegeometry works but with graphical glitches. Performance is very good.

ParticipantYeah, it’s a good game and nice 3D with geometry, but its so sad to set it up nearly perfect in tutorial and after it only with compromise.

ParticipantStrike this from the list of good VorpX titles. The FOV settings only work in the tutorial and after it FOV commands only change the view to the player model, hands weapons etc. but not the world. too bad

ParticipantThx, I fiddled around with the config and tried
seta com_FixedTic “1”
too. Then at some places I get much better fps, but the movement speed is now synced with the fps.
It’s an OpenGL game, support for that is rather new.iankemp
ParticipantTested FC4. Oculus 0.8, Uplay Version without Steam. Set FC4 to windowed and VorpX Pause Watcher. First you have a small Start Screen, then a loading Screen. When the loading bar is at around 50%, resume Watcher.
Far Cry VR I enjoyed Blood Dragon the most, because the graphic style works really good in VR instead of Himalaya FC4.

Participantnice find, thanks. I like the 3D quality with that, but mostly only 20-30 Game FPS, thats not playable. 4.2 GHz Quad and GTX 970 here.

ParticipantHello! Oculus shipping is around the corner and i think i can finally fulfill my long dream about experiencing Dark Messiah of Might and Magic in VR. I have waited this since 2008. I ordered the freaking Trimersion back in days because i didn’t know any better back then.
So anybody knows how well this game is working with VorpX? Anybody have the game and can test it with VorpX 0.9? That game is just freaking amazing and it goes to “you need to play it” -category.
This game works great in geometry 3D. My settings:
Steam Start Options: -console
and paste in console:
bind “w” “+forward;sv_cheats 1;fov 120;viewmodel_fov 120”because bow zoom resets fov
Pixel Ratio 1:1 in VorpX
You can’t see the HUD, but its playable.

ParticipantHighly recommended!
With 120 FOV in walking (DK2) and calibrated Head Tracking the GTA V VR experience ist great!My settings atm:
[FirstPerson]
Walking = 89
Car = 89
Aiming = 78
Crouching = 89
ADS = 68iankemp
Participantskyrim can be set perfectly on vorpx, fov game + vorpx ingame settings.
Whats your recommended FOV and VorpX Setting?

ParticipantI have a GTX970, its the CPU, that limits the Geometry Mode in Skyrim.
Skyrim has many issues and I tested it alot and i can’t recommend it, there many more titles, that working much better. Z-Buffer gives better experience (no jutter) but no Head Positioning. Skyrim has a FOV / Fisheye issue, that ruins the whole Oculus Rift experience and gives sickness because of the wrong perspektive. I can only recommend it to play zoomed out with normal FOV, so you have the Big Screen 3D Effekt, but not the Immersion.iankemp
ParticipantI use Rivatuner Statistics Server
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/rtss-rivatuner-statistics-server-download.html
at lower right corner you can set the position of the counter and move it into sight. Try 300 / 300
