ParticipantI don’t have any of those keyboard issues you spoke of. But I think the default profile has head tracking issues due to the alt key override by vorpx. Enable expert settings in vorpx controls on your actual desktop not in the in game menu. Then turn override alt key off, that should enable head tracking.

ParticipantOpen vorpx config enable expert settings, open Arma 3 then once in game open up vorpx menu with delete key and find the setting “override alt key” set it to no. For ctrl or shift I have no idea, disable overlays like steam possibly.

ParticipantIm still curious why people use 2 programs at the same time VorpX/VD VorpX/Bigscreen, What’s the benefit?

ParticipantSorry it’s Alt+C. My bad.

ParticipantGeneral forum highlighted in yellow posted by Ralf you should see vorpX 23.1.0 BETA. Gesture controls have not been added to stable branch vorpx yet as far as I know only Beta.

ParticipantDownload the latest beta, it has gesture support, you’ll have to set everything up yourself in the DEL menu Make sure to use default keys as I think the gestures only work for default key binds also obviously disable battleye or vorpx won’t hook. You can then only play solo, private servers or multiplayer servers with battleye off.

ParticipantDon’t need VD, you could launch airlink/link cable and just play games through the oculus menu. If you have vorpx you can launch it at that point too airlink or link cable.

ParticipantControl+C hides and shows cursor by default keys, can change them obviously if need be.

ParticipantMaybe I’m misunderstanding but you can lean in arma using vorpx leaning in real life, also I’ve tried aiming, reloading and throwing grenades with gestures it’s okay… current vorpx beta allows all this if this answers any of your questions.

ParticipantThank you Ralf, I’m so glad that this has seen light. Thanks again for your continued work on vorpx.

ParticipantSo I think it was the last few builds, with a fresh install of vorpx launch Arma 3 with alternate hooking ON battleye OFF change a few settings (nothing significant) then save and exit the vorpx menu and then exit the game. I would then start Arma 3 back up alternate hooking ON with battleye ON this time and it would fully hook joining servers and everything…But since the last few updates this unfortunately doesn’t work anymore. With the profiles I’ll try out what you say, I’ll keep testing on the new build and beta to see if I can get Arma 3 to hook again with G3D battleye ON. I noticed that the dll’s and stuff enter the hidden temp folder and they are the files battleye blocks (Armax64DLL in particular) just wondering if maybe this directory or path changed in anyway in the vorpx builds?
IroquoisPliskin
ParticipantOkay…. So after a few days of confusion and frustration I found a solution (it works for me) in the VorpX settings go to general and tick Use alternate hooking method. You should hopefully now be able to play Arma 3 on any server including official servers with Battleye ON.
IroquoisPliskin
ParticipantVorpX was definitely hooking, had full 3D and everything but I recently tried to play Arma 3 online with Battleye on as per usual and now it doesn’t work after working for months….. No clue why it even let it work in the first place or why it even stopped working.

ParticipantArma 3 works with Battleye on, I have been playing on all kinds of servers with VorpX working perfectly. I was playing Battleye off servers but got over them and went back to Battleye servers and it’s worked ever since.

ParticipantI forgot the most important part, importing the profile from the cloud if there is one. I imported Ghost recon 2001 that states G3D works with it and the game now works in G3D with DGVOODOO2.
