Oh also inside of vorpX (del) go over to where you can set what is assigned to the game pad buttons via what vorpx assigns when you select handle game pad internally. Go into these buttons and change them to something that dose not ever get used in the game like (.) that way it minimizes the interference of vorx and the game pad works inside the game engine itself.

I posted this under unsupported games that still have 3d:
I got Dying Light to run with geometry 3D by changing the name to DXHRDC. The built in “beta” rift support was cool and all but worked only sort of good. Now you can adjust all the goodies vorpx lets you and now its in READABLE text thanks to vorpx. If you guys haven’t got this program yet and you have and play games on your DK2 this is a must have. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Any way yeah i messed with the vignette scale and image zoom and some other stuff but it works great. Tried UDK and it hooked but no geo and I used arma 2 but no luck. But DXHRDC works great. There mite be another that hooks even better but for now I’m going with DXHRDC. Oh and DO NOT HAVE THE DEFAULT RIFT SUPPORT AND TRY TO RUN WITH VORPX it will give double screen effect. Disable factory rift support if you have added it then hook with vorpx.

    Note:
I use z-adaptive usually though, its just seems to be easier for my eyes. I suggest trying out different combos of increasing vignette scale and decreasing image zoom as well as the reverse of decreasing vignette scale and increasing image zoom until it feels right. I also turn down head tracking to around 60% and in the game settings i set the mouse to about half to a little less then half.

    Controller support:
If you want to use a game pad ( I usually do) Go into vorpex settings in game (Del) then go to handle game-pad internally, you want it to be yes but if its yes when you start up the controller wont work. So each time you start the game go into vorpx (del) and flick it from on to off then back on and the controller will work. There are some things that get weird with controller support right now like this but hey it works.

Some video cards have an option to do the old style blue and red 3d. That could be some how activated? I do remember having this happen if I recall when I was messing with settings and other things. I cant remember if it was something in the fallout/skyrim options side or the vorpX side. I think it may have been when I was experimenting with alternate launchers for Fallout NV. I use the newest NVSE and the newest 4gb launcher to activate Fallout NV and vorpx works great with it. You can dial it in to be perfect with all the options vorpx has and the added performance from the memory patch is a must.

There are 2 main things I have noticed that makes it do that when you get close to an object. The first and most important setting you need to get set so you feel comfortable and that is IPD. the rift comes with a ballpark setting of like 75. But a ball park is pretty big, its like buying a one size fits all pants and expecting them to fit great. My IPD is 62.2. Getting this set correctly is A #1 on the list of things to do. Next is go stand next to something until it gets the double effect going then reduce your 3D strength inside vropX menu until you feel comfortable. Works for me every time.

I had this happen with my DK2 before. Im not sure why it stopped but I was messing with alot of settings and experimenting around with all kinds of input devices and other stuff.

    Solution:
Open vorpx config, go to general, then under device settings inside of general you can select what device vorpx uses. In your case pick dk1. Hope that helps
