kroganParticipant
no i removed oculus as i got an error first time i set up lenova but i think it was the displayport to hdmi adaptor so i switched my monitor and lenova hdmi connector.
steam vr seems to work without controllers as i am able to use the free bigscreen software from steam that uses keyboard, and the demo the lab loads but as touch controllers dont work i cant play it. i dont have option for admin rights on steam vricon just vorpx has admin rights for launching but doesnt work when i try skyrim with settings on generic
kroganParticipanti got the lenova today and installed the new steam mixed reality driver.
It doesnt appear to like the touch controllers and the message lost tracking with blinkin controller icon. I only can use the touch controller in the house i can teleport and click on the movie and photo windows on the walls the left controller seems to flake out even here thou . i installed the halo recruit demo and my field of view was off i was below the floor and could see the pistols if i looked straight up. I am retired and find the controllers very sensitive my hands are a bit shaky and i think id be better of with a xbox controller . I will try resetting controllers to factory defaults and see if that helps. Hope its not the blue tooth adapter its iogear . Let me know if anyone has got new steam app working properlykroganParticipantI really enjoy elder scrolls online now since adaptive 3d works properly in cinema mode now. Heights are really amazing and depth of 3d is satisfactory till g3d comes along. Great update thanks

Any ideas on hnow to remove the weight from the bottom of deepon would be appredciated i tried velcroing the bottom and attaching the middle strap to that but it didnt lift the bottom like i thought.

I found a super slim thank god.Oct 4, 2016 at 10:52am in reply to: Adding frontal positional tracking to an headset without positional tracker #111680kroganParticipantit would be nice if i could just cut off the 6 inch part of cable that was damaged and splice it together but since hdmi has several pins i imagine that would be impossible as its prob several small wires.

kroganParticipantfresh install of vorpx not windows hehe vorpx install has the additional microsoft framework files which are loaded after main software.
kroganParticipantit may be just a microsoft framework problem in which case a fresh install would solve it.
kroganParticipantall the games work fine for me and icon doesnt dissappear . implaying skyrim elderon now and its awesome
kroganParticipantyes vorpx works fine u may need to go to oculus settings then uneder general click on allow other apps to use oculus
kroganParticipantdk2 mode only works with latest oculus builds , i dont have controller so other then vorpx i use virtual desktop which allows you to use your video players and operate your desktop normaly through your hmd. its available on steam for a price but it also lets you play your games in 2d . but vorpx should work u have to use vorpx config before you launch game. did u set it to dk2 in generaL menu settings?
kroganParticipantyou may have vorpx set to cv1 go to general settings in vorpx menu and select dk2
Also u need to use game optimizer and select game u wish to play and hit accept.
now launch game and i suggest using cinama mode till u understand all the settings use del key to access menu in game -
