    Works great, now I just need to get rid of 30fps cap that I seem to have. And after I tested freelancer I checked few other games and this time I could hook in to all of those as well. And I have know idea what was blocking vorpx from hooking when I last tried them…

    Pico 5.11.2S (hardware)

    I have no issues with head tracking using pico connect & vorpx, however I use virtual desktop 99% of the time with my Pico 4 and only use Pico´s own software when virtual desktop fails in some particular cases.

    I don´t know what that 5.9.2+ version you are referring is?

    To clarify that I tried games that have profiles in cloud for example freelancer, I have to double check that Im using the correct (older) build of dgvoodoo. But nice to know that the next version of vorpx should allow for easier time with these games, thanks.

    I tried some games with dgvoodoo2 and could not get them to hook, the dgvoodoo logo shows up on flat screen so that part should be ok and vorpx tries to hook up but never does. I tried the usual methods of alternative hooking etc but no luck. I am running on the 24.1 and haven´t tried 21.3.5 but should vorpx and dgvoodoo work on the beta also?

    If you could change the .exe files name and then add either the changed name or original to vorpx excluded list that would prevent the hooking?

    Can you elaborate on that, does the game menu show but you can´t select anything, what are you seeing in your hmd? Usually you have to clear the vorpx starting screen with the keys prompted, and after that you can use your mouse/keyboard normally to run the game.

    About the flickering, what hz mode are using on quest2, I personally haven´t used it but maybe the 72hz mode is flickery and should be increased atleast to 90hz.

    Edit. Also you need to make sure that the game is active on the desktop, sometimes when you start the game it stays on the background and can´t interact with it.

    Black Mesa should be pretty straightforward, since there is official profile for it.

    Select correct hmd (quest) in vorpx and then launch the game and vorpx “should” hook up to it.
    There´s basic quick reference help in vorpx that should help you get going.

    Are people able to run this anymore, I can´t get it to hook? Tried with hook helper and shouldn´t have interfering programs running at the same time since other games hook properly.

    Well at least GTA5 works mostly.

    There are profiles in the cloud, seems to be Z3D only (?), I remember playing the demo with vorpx. I do not own the full game yet so can´t test those cloud profiles.

    Regarding uevr I highly recommend learning to use it, basic usage isn´t any more complicated than vorpx and most games have profiles made by other people including Robocop.
    If you only want 3D effect without motion controllers, its mostly just injecting into the game and resetting camera position and adjusting resolution.

    Out of curiosity: what gameplay changes does the next gen patch bring that could potentially outweigh the fairly substantial DX11 gfx downgrade?

    Others have already posted about the features, mainly the new quest/gear and some minor improvements. I wasn´t aware that the next gen version has such big downgrade on DX11, so maybe for VR I´ll try playing the “classic” version if new profile isn´t going to work.

    Never finished old version of the game, because when I heard of the new version I decided to wait for it.

    If the changes applied only to graphics I´d be fine playing the old version, its not like I would be using raytracing in vr anyway :) , but there are also many changes related to gameplay/features.

    Z-Normal mode for next gen would be great also, but if it is not possible or too much work I understand that too.

    Would be cool to get this working on next gen patch, or if you (Ralf) don´t have any plans to make a working profile it would be nice to know so I can look for alternative method (superdepth3d) for running in vr or just play flat.

    Or are you just using the standalone mod for CP? Then I don´t think theres is an easy way to disable it without uninstalling?

    Just don´t launch vorpx if you want to play flat?
    Or “pause the watcher” in vorpx if you don´t want to shut it down.
