Let me know if any of these profiles fix the flickering and duplicate enemy names.
legaiaflame2ParticipantDo any profiles work with this?
Dec 28, 2018 at 10:22am in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Flickering and duplicate enemy names!) #178083legaiaflame2ParticipantHow do I try different profiles with a game? I’m not sure how, I’ve just always started VorpX and then double clicked the game icon on my desktop…
Dec 24, 2018 at 7:39pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Flickering and duplicate enemy names!) #177982legaiaflame2ParticipantHow is the 3D FOV enhancement value? If that is above the default settings lower it down to default, it can cause glitches in some games.
I have observed graphics drivers behaving differently with steamVR. May be changing to a lower/higher version might help with the black screen.
I put the 3d to default and still get the flickering/duplicate enemy names. When I turn 3d reconstruction completely off it fixes the flickering and duplicate enemy names. But, then I would have no 3d which is the entire point of VorpX…

Dec 24, 2018 at 4:02pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Flickering and duplicate enemy names!) #177974legaiaflame2ParticipantAs far as Kotor 1 goes it run good except for glitching pieces of the environment coming in and out of view as you move in “some” locations. As well as duplicate flickering enemy names.
And yes, in the first game you will have to turn 3d off for the swoop races as once you go over a few boosters the screen goes black..
Dec 24, 2018 at 4:00pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Flickering and duplicate enemy names!) #177973legaiaflame2ParticipantEverything in kotor2 works great except for the glare. When you turn up the 3D the glare from any light will become very bright. But other than that the game works good.
Dec 23, 2018 at 12:01pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Flickering and duplicate enemy names!) #177928legaiaflame2ParticipantI mean the game is playable but it’s just annoying; for instance when you’re on Tatooine and the sand floor starts flickering allowing you to see through the graphics…I wonder what is causing this? It even does this without using VorpX…
Also, you can’t do the Swoop bike races using 3D or eventually everything goes black. For the races you have to turn the 3d slider all the way down…
legaiaflame2ParticipantCan anyone test this out to see if it works with any profiles? I don’t know which engine FFX HD uses?…
legaiaflame2ParticipantFinal Fantasy 10 HD Remaster!
legaiaflame2ParticipantCan someone try to get the 3d to work? Would be awesome if we could play one of the best Final Fantasy’s in VR! How do you go about making a game that isn’t compatible, compatible, anyway?
Nov 10, 2018 at 4:52pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2? Does it work at all? #176631legaiaflame2ParticipantI played around with the brightness settings in the VorpX menu and the actual game menu. There is actually a brightness slider in the VorpX menu (press Delete and cycle through the pages). Raising or lowering any of these does not take away the glare. For some reason the glare occurs when you turn up the 3D slider/intensity.
I mean I just played the first game and turned up the 3D to whatever I wanted and I had no glare. Can any programmers on here edit the user made profile and correct this and reupload it to the cloud? Because nothing in the menu’s will fix this…
The glare makes it hard to see at times. This is a really awesome Star Wars game and it would be really nice if it was officially supported, with this problem ironed out.
Nov 10, 2018 at 12:06pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2? Does it work at all? #176625legaiaflame2ParticipantI don’t think a mod will fix my glare problem though. It’s a result of the 3D effect from VorpX. All of the lights shine too bright once you turn the 3D up. The first game doesn’t have this problem…
Nov 9, 2018 at 9:38pm in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2? Does it work at all? #176608legaiaflame2ParticipantI noticed while playing, that the various lights in the Ebon Hawk, cities and the lightsabers themselves, give off a very intense glare. It can be kind of blinding at times. Is there any way to adjust, lower, or fix this?
Oct 19, 2018 at 3:46am in reply to: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Why does the game crash during movies?) #175926legaiaflame2Participant“•If the game crashes when a movie is played, you will need to enable support for the resolution 640×480 in your graphics card driver’s control panel.[citation needed]”
I have Nvidia and am looking around in the control panel. I don’t see any option to enable 640X480. I see an option for custom resolutions. But there is a warning message I get that says it could cause damage? Will that mess up my computer?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
