Try removing all mod files and reboot.

    Are you using a vive?

You have to activate the mod. Once the game starts, hit the 0 key on your keyboard’s number-pad. That will bring up the mod menu. I believe 2 and 8 on the number-pad will scroll through the menu. Select the vr option and any other mod option, then hit 0 to close the menu.

Thanks Ralf. Does anyone know which button on the Vive controllers is the ALT key?

To clarify, the ALT key is blocked in vorpx. ALT is how you jump from one character to another. How do you jump characters with the Vive controllers?

You only need those things for the GTA VR mod that adds hand tracking. Let me know if you get the mod to work. It always messed up my FOV making everything distorted.

My bad. What happens when you run GTA 5 after starting VorpX?

I think you can manually add your cd version of the game to Steam. You can play online as long as you don’t use any mods. That includes the GTAVR mod.

Ok, the PDF is modified to explain those steps properly. Thanks for the help, I wouldn’t have known of this issue since I don’t have the Steam edition to test with, myself.

Do let me know if these fixed instructions work. You should be good to go.

And don’t forget the step by step video…

The mod adds hand/gun tracking, which is awesome. But when I activate the mod in my game, it messes up the FOV. I can’t confirm if this is just me or everyone.

Does anyone can play with GTAV Vr mod but with kb & mouse, instead of touch controllers? With this mod I have really good headtracking, but I prefer play with kb&m. With default in-game first person camera it’s difficult to play long time because of moving animations. Maybe somebody know how to play without those animations?

Keyboard and mouse controls should work find.

Are your graphics settings too high? The game is extremely demanding even without VR.

Actually, we just assumed the problem was not understanding Image Zoom. But as the thread eventually reveals, the problem was the Cheat Engine FOV didn’t work with the Steam version of Edith Finch, which was why tweaking Image Zoom didn’t work very well. Once we figured that out, budwheizzah was able to tweak it to work with steam as well. I didn’t mind being the guinea pig if it means getting a game working.
