MegablasterParticipant
I’d still like an option to turn it *off along with the game warnings. I’m an experienced user so I already know about the potential problems.
Oct 11, 2023 at 6:50pm in reply to: If I remove Vorpx & reinstall, do I need to apply for a new key?! #218071MegablasterParticipantThanks for the info!
MegablasterParticipantWith your headset on, hit the delete button while in Vorpx to bring up the menu. Go into more 3-D settings. You’ll see right eye, left eye set to off, or pick one or the other this should solve your blind spot problem.
MegablasterParticipantSo according to that no *new games that run in DX 12 will run in G3-D in Vorpx! I think it’s time for an *update!
MegablasterParticipantI’ve found out that for *me, increasing the 3D depth can actually cause glitches and effect overall performance, so that’s the first thing I’d check. Try to set the depth at the minimum required setting to get the 3D effect.
MegablasterParticipantClicking ok & save does not solve the issue. I check click & save constantly and it never saves my hud VP settings. Never. I have to reset the profile every time I start the game. These are profiles I’ve changed settings on. One is the geometry 3-D profile for Resident Evil 0. I’m currently using that profile for Dead Or Alive 5. I have some others but I’m not sure what the original profiles were. I uploaded a G3-D profile for Dead Or Alive 6 but found out after the fact that it hadn’t saved my Hud settings. So anyone who down loads that profile will get a black screen until they go in change the Hud settings. It’s been very frustrating.
MegablasterParticipantOne more question; Does the quest 2 need the batteries installed when you’re using the PC link cable? Does it?! Thanks…
MegablasterParticipantI didn’t think to ask, does the quest 2 automatically detect the link cable or does it require special steps?! I know there are some VR units out there that can be tricky to get working with a PC connection. Thanks…
MegablasterParticipantNew Egg has some replacement optical cables for a fraction of the price that Oculus wants. I’ll probably go that route.
MegablasterParticipantYou just need the link cable, right?!
MegablasterParticipantRalf is there a trick to getting Vorpx to save properly?! Every time I create a profile that requires special HudVP settings and I click save, it doesn’t *save. I restart the game and the profile loads but it doesn’t keep my settings. What am I doing wrong?!
MegablasterParticipantThanks for this list! I’m going to start testing them to find out if any of these might work.
MegablasterParticipantRJK I was wondering if any of these profiles support open GL in G3-D, and if you happen to know which ones those are?! I have a couple of open GL games I’d like to get running but I have no idea which profiles might work. I went through quite a few of them with no luck. I’d appreciate any info you might have on this.
MegablasterParticipantluka2099, thanks for this tip, it worked! I can’t thank you enough!
MegablasterParticipantNo, if you’ve used Vertex or pixel hud VP and you’ve gone through all the parameters, and it still looks flat it’s the *wrong profile. You might want to try some other profiles like the Unity 5 or the Unreal Engine 3. I’ve gotten DOA 6 to run in full G3-d but it refuses to save the profile. I have to reload my settings each time I run the game. If your really interested in playing DOA 6 in VR you might want to take a look at *Helixvision. DOA 6 is an officially supported game and runs great in VR with the proper settings.
