Hmmm. Ok, I installed the switcher and can confirm that it works between 0.8 and 1.3. I was able to install Vorpx 16.1.1 but when I try to start it I get the o’l Oculus Runtime init failed Please check if you have the Oculus runtime installed. Is this just because Vorpx can’t find the runtime? We had to use some specific folders for the runtimes. On a side note, I’m so happy I get to have my cake and eat it too! Thanks Raif!

I feel your pain. I think Raif is waiting for Bethesda to release the official mod support tool functionality. I think but I dunno.

You should make a switch to use an older version of vorpx.
There is already a switch to switch at runtime 0.8 runtime 0.6 for the oculus

?? I’m not sure I understand why would I want to use an older version of Vorpx for Fallout 4? Do you have a link for more info on this?

Fallout 4 support us already there. Normally vorpX should auto update to the latest version (0.91) when you start it. If it doesn’t for some reason, you can use your web installer to get the latest version.

With GEOMETRY MODE?! If it does, you are indeed the keymaster.

Too bad they don’t send you advanced copies eh Raif? Considering how big VR is about to be, and that you’re one of the few putting AAA titles in VR.

Hmm, Your specs are exactly the same as mine except I have a GTX970 (driver:10.18.13.5878). Sorry I can’t give you an immediate answer, but I have a few ideas:
Are you on a laptop? big issues have been reported with laptops as I understand it.
You might check your firewall. I noticed that my Norton firewall would block certain .dlls of Vorpx or the Oculus runtime, but wouldn’t completely stop the installation. Leaving me thinking everything installed correctly with no notification.
Are you admin? Even doing a ‘run as admin’ can have issues. There’s no substitute.

    Hi Raif,

Can I get the previous version of Vorpx (8.1 I think)? I was able to get 0.9.0 to working fine, but Minecrift needs an older version of the Oculus runtime Until they update it, and that would of course break Vorpx 0.9.0. Thanks.
