OvoParticipant
I have a 1080 Ti + Ryzen 1800X, I turned off FluidSync, yet I can’t run smoothly at 1600×1200 with mid settings. :(
I have a few mods installed though, I should try without.OvoParticipantRaceMenu installed here too and I only have four or five options in the Body section. But I can see from the mod’s screenshots that I should have a lot more, so I get it’s a bug. Need to troubleshoot this.
OvoParticipantHi, u just wanne adjust in showracemenu the settings for the handscaling
I just fired up showracemenu and there is no such setting, can you check how you got it exaclty please?

It’s not at all what I said or implied! “they just have to disclose it and people will shut up” means “if they want people to shut up, they simply have to disclose it”, not “they are obliged to disclose it”.
> If you prefer a more “corporate” way of handling user forums, you can have that.
I told you it’s the opposite of what I want. But if you don’t want to have discussions besides technical details and suggestions then just don’t have them. Why are you replying to me if you don’t want to?

Do you need to be rude? $40 is a lot if you end up not using the software at all because it’s not what you expected. A trial version would solve this issue. If Animation Labs have a reason not to have a trial version, then they just have to disclose it on the website and people will shut up. Until then, new people will come and complain about the lack of demo and your own bitching against their bitching won’t stop it.

I like VorpX and I’d like to help it on what I think is the right direction. Now that I know you disagree with what the right direction is, I’ll stop and return to lambda customer state. No big deal.

I’m sorry if it annoys you but you’re not going to stop users from critizing what they don’t like. Silence is not going to stop that. If you get nagged about something frequently, that’s certainly a sign that you should find a solution to the issue people are having.
Which primarily means far less concrete and qualified answers, and probaly almost none by me anymore.
That would be going the opposite direction I’d wish you to go. Everyone likes transparency. You already have a lot of transparency, which is great, you should just take the extra step and go for full transparency. :)

Do I have a way to refund if it doesn´t work properly???No. And Ralf always dodges the question. Guess it’s on purpose and he knows it’s not ethical (that and the misleading lack of details on the list of supported games). Strange behavior if you ask me, because he’s otherwise very comprehensive and straightforward in his replies on the forums, and VorpX – even though not for everyone – is not a scam. I suppose he thinks a bit of dirty business tricks are necessary to kickstart his business until VorpX is out of beta. Don’t know… What I know is that it discourages me from getting more involved in helping VorpX by posting cloud settings, step by step guides or whatever, even though I’m quite enthusiastic about VorpX.
OvoParticipantTo add details to Tiggerdyret’s reply, you can find the 1st Person FOV setting in the Direct VR settings page of the VorpX menu. A value of 30 was the best compromise for me. The hands are still too big but it’s playable.
OvoParticipantI am looking for a tool where I just push a “start” button and it runs fine by itself.
I’ve heard you have to reduce the graphical ‘fidelity’ to a medium Setting in Skyrim for it to become playable via vorpx in VR. And I can only Play the game with a ton of mods loaded
If I summarize, you’re both lazy and picky with video games (not a criticism). VorpX is not for you then, you’d most likely end up frustrated.
OvoParticipantRight, I got carried away. Hand-controlling the cursor in edge peek (and virtual cinema) is what matters.
OvoParticipantMy idea was to only activate it when pressing some button like a grip, or even on trackpad touch, which I thought would avoid unwanted movements. Is it what you tested?
> you aren’t able to fake sword swings or wielding a gun anymore
Hm, ok, I don’t do that, but controller movement could be on the secondary hand, letting you fake wielding with your main one; movement is set on the left hand in most games anyway. While for menu navigation there could be a (stand-alone) mouse pointer mode for the main hand, auto activated when in edge peek mode?OvoParticipantWhile this is useful in menus, inventory screens etc., it doesn’t really make such sense during actual gameplay in the majority of games
Well, even as camera control, it will be a lot more comfortable than swiping the trackpad.
OvoParticipantThanks Ralf.
If you could complete it and put it on the website, you’d make many people happy I believe.OvoParticipantI support this. The current list is useless. It doesn’t help me know which games are well enough supported for me to play and I’m not going to test them one by one.
