ParticipantOk, it was IPD. I set it to 61 in game with VorpX and everything is scaled correctly now. It was as simple as that… nobody even thought about it… :P. VorpX is using completely different IPD. Don’t ask me why.

Participantrunning everything on latest, latest runtime, latest firmware. That was my another question if VorpX supports 0.4.2. I couldn’t find any compatibility information. Yeah, I tried pretty much everything. I guess I’ll give it another try with DK2 as only monitor. My main monitor natural resolution is 1920×1200 which is 16:9 ratio, DK2 natural is 1920×1080 which is 16:10 ratio. Maybe those ratios are screwing up with me.

ParticipantI guess I’ll give it a few more weeks. Hopefully VorpX will improve by then.

ParticipantTried with main monitor as well. No luck. on 1920×1080 still no scale for DK2. Only works well 1680×1050.

ParticipantI can do up to 1920×1200 on main monitor. So yeah 1920×1080 is available in Skyrim. I’ll try to make DK2 main monitor and see if that helps.

ParticipantEverything is working except that he needs to get VorpX to support native DK2 resolution over extended to DK2 and not primary. Head tracking is working as well, it breaks sometimes yes, like in Fallout 3 I can’t understand either head tracking breaks or the game freezes… but yeah DK2 is new and first steps are being made. Its all messy and cheesy but thats what alphas usually are either its a VR device or a driver.

ParticipantPlease see if you can work on VorpX so that it supports DK2 natural resolution while in extended mode and NOT primary monitor.
Fallout 3 – Game of the Year Edition – keeps crashing as soon as I get into game. Got myself passed cutscenes in normal mode but its crashing the game itself. Laters.

ParticipantGot Skyrim to work but only in 1680×1050. 1920×1080 is not scaled and wrong stereo. I didn’t try running DK2 as primary monitor yet, its quite a pain.

ParticipantFallout 3 crashes as soon as main video ends when baby starts crying… that’s the furthest I got so far. At this point VorpX is quite useless. Hopefully you can get it to better support good games and soon.

Participantok, VorpX needs Net Framework 3.5.1 enabled in Windows Features. Without it won’t run. I got VorpX up and running now. Gonna try to disable profile and eye personalized rendering see if this resolves awkward scaling in Skyrim/Far Cry 3.

ParticipantMy VorpX is no longer working either. I just restarted PC and then reinstalled VorpX. i think it has something to do wit .NET Framework. When I reinstalled VorpX it tried to install 3.5.1 NET Framework which Windows 7 yelled at that I need to install things through Windows Features instead… I’ve had 4.5.1 before hmmm. How do I fix this Ralph?

ParticipantFar Cry 3 has the same problem as Skyrim. the stereo is not really a stereo but some odd rendering for each eye separately.

Participantthanks. Another problem – got the Foallout 3 to work on extended, but 1920×1080 crashes, I tried one down – 1680×945 and it worked. Fallout 3 doesn’t have the weird scale issue, Skyrim does. I wonder why… I’ll try to disable profile. Hmm, for some reason VorpX Config now crashes too.. the heck is going on tonight.. lol :).

Participantdisabled Nvidia 3D, didnt help. Also tried to run Fallout 3 and if I pick “Show only on Rift DK2” I get error – Failed to initialize renderer. Unknown error creating the Gamebrio Renderer. It works fine if I do on main screen or even on all screens (Clone) but it wont show in DK2 then.
