    I thought of this twice last night but i would like to make a suggestion concerning the huge gift (authoring tools) that you have made to us. May be it would make more sense to make the tools only available for profiles that have been previously uploaded to the cloud or a similar method, all the base profiles are in the cloud anyhow IIRC, so may be for authoring using a “cloud copy” or simliar like under “local profiles” that can be dedeleted if not suitable). It takes sometimes weeks to finish a good 3D profile and it would shurely be a waste if someone creates a (good or not good) profile and doesnt share it with others afterwards. I think that would be just be a “fair” deal for everyone. ( keeping in mind that these huge tools are completely free to use for VorpX users ! )

    Comments welcome.

    I was a little afraid that Ralf needs to adapt VorpX to that, if that was the case, Win7 and 8 could may be not supported any further.

    The good thing, the option can be switched on and off, so Win10 useres can “optionally” use it, others just dont.

    Besides i never hurry to install the newest stuff, only when it becomes necessary.

    If that doesnt conflict with VorpX because as far i understood vorpx already produces additional frames below certain framerates. Someone tested that already ?

    Hope thats not the end of windows 7 compatibility, VorpX side.

    Not that i have only old games in my stock, as long noone is making requests i choose them myself randomly.

    The Hobbit (DGVoodoo2) – G3D

    This DX8 game from 2003 is the prelude to “The Lords of the Rings”. Old graphics but nice colours and great S3D everywhere.

    DGVoodoo2 required
    – Old game but let you choose any availiable resolution !
    – Optimized for Cinema Modes
    – Availiable from the cloud

    Two Worlds 2 (G3D)

    Now we finally have a proper 3D Profile for this game.

    – excellent 3D in all Modes
    – Full VR with Headtracking (Default setting)
    – Turning OFF Bloom and HDR improves image quality and details
    – Use windowed mode and desktop resolution matching game resolution !
    – Profile availiable from the cloud

    FOV Tweak:
    You can either enter desired FOV through console command or file.
    Enable console: press ^ , enter TwoWorldsCheats 1 , enter engine.fov 100 (example). You can also create a subfolder in your game folder, name it “Parameters”, create a file in that folder, name it “AutoexecGame2.con”, add the following lines:
    (my personal setting was :
    engine.fov 100
    engine.HDR 0
    engine.BloomMultiplier 0

    Note: FOV settings will only take effect in outside areas, at least after you escape from the castle.

    Disneys Chicken Little (DGVoodoo2) – G3D

    – Cute Jump n Run Game
    DGVoodoo2 required
    – Force Resolution with DGVoodoo to desired value
    – Dont use Full VR mode
    – Profile availiable from the cloud

    Battlefield 2 (G3D)

    – Good S3D in all modes, Full VR with Headtracking.
    – Weapons look too big, you might use Cinema Modes and 3D Fov Enhancement / Camera Height to compensate
    – Get the profile from the cloud

    Disneys Ratatouille (G3D)

    – Cute Jump n Run with excellent S3D in all modes.
    – Full VR mode allows 3rd person with headtracking
    – Profile is using inverted Headtracking for vertical camera
    – Using Cinema Mode on default
    – Availiable from the cloud

    Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (G3D)

    This is the first DX9 title of the C&C Series. Perfect S3D, just one snag, when shutting down so you must terminate game manually through task manager with STRG+ALT+DEL. – Game reminds a bit on Fallout Tactics in S3D. Game is not very resource hungry, so you can turn up everything to the max.

    exclude CNC3.exe from VorpX
    – optimized for Cinema Modes
    – use STRG+ALT+DEL to terminate game manually
    – lower shadows and water reflections
    – 16:9 resolution recommended
    – availiable from the cloud

    Command & Conquer: Generals (DGVoodoo2) – G3D

    After Renegade this is the second C&C DX8 game worth playing in VR. A completely new experience in 3D with VorpX. Very nice 3D !

    IMPORTANT
    The game most probably will crash on newer systems. If so, create a file named options.ini in the C&C folder near C:/../users/../Command & Conquer(tm) Generals/ and add the following content:

    BuildingOcclusion = yes
    DynamicLOD = yes
    ExtraAnimations = yes
    FirewallBehavior = 9
    FirewallNeedToRefresh = FALSE
    FirewallPortAllocationDelta = 0
    GameSpyIPAddress = 0.0.0.0
    Gamma = 50
    HeatEffects = yes
    IPAddress = 0.0.0.0
    IdealStaticGameLOD = Low
    LanguageFilter = false
    MaxParticleCount = 5000
    MusicVolume = 49
    Resolution = 1680 1050
    Retaliation = yes
    SFX3DVolume = 64
    SFXVolume = 57
    ScrollFactor = 80
    SendDelay = yes
    ShowSoftWaterEdge = yes
    ShowTrees = yes
    StaticGameLOD = Custom
    TextureReduction = 0
    UseAlternateMouse = yes
    UseCloudMap = yes
    UseDoubleClickAttackMove = yes
    UseLightMap = yes
    UseShadowDecals = yes
    UseShadowVolumes = yes
    VoiceVolume = 70
    After you have saved the file, run game and make your settings

    DGVoodoo2 required
    – Optimized for Cinema Modes
    – Availiable from the cloud

    Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour (DGVoodoo2) – G3D

    Same as main game, but different profile and different folder under C:\users\..\ect. Dont use this profile on main game !

    Battlefield 1942 WWII Anthology (DGVoodoo2) – G3D

    Very first game of the Battlefield series. The game has some funny bugs to offer, to prevent crashing always click menu buttons on their left third. Another bug is that hands occasionally render completely out of deptch , if that happens either switch over to Z-Mode and back, reload profile / reload game.

    DGVoodoo2 required
    – Good S3D in all modes, also 1rst person Full VR with headtracking
    – Profile availiable from the cloud
