    Additional info:

    – When playing Full VR, please gain FOV (ingame settings).

The current profile is optimized for cinema modes at a FOV value ~50. 3D strength need to be re-adjusted when changing FOV.

Everspace 1, supporting Steam VR, has has no need for a VorpX Profile so Everspace 2 may do so as well. To see if thats the case, run Steam VR (vrdashboard.exe or vrmonitor.exe), make a shortcut pointing to the executable of the game and add add -vr at the and of the line. For this of corse VorpX must not be running.

Either use one of the options from here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Painkiller or use the vorpx FOV enhancement option in the menu.

The profile has been made for the steam version, but MAY also work with the retail version.
Dont expect too much though 3D wise. Switch beetween z-normal and z-adaptive to see what
    suits better for you.

You have two ways to move your actors head in Full VR mode. By using either keys or TrackIR. Cant tell you much about TrackIR though. There dont seem to be any settings where you can use a mouse for left/right view directly. “TrackIR” may solve that problem.

Many racing games cant be played with Full VR because the head cant be disconnected from the cockpit view. Not shure if VorpX will be able to handle this with the new weapon down function, havent tested that yet. A good solution for this matter is to extend one of the cinema modes to the max in size, then adjust headtracking for your desire. This comes pretty close to real headtracking. Of course you are not able to turn your head around or look up and down. You will always have a small black border remaining. But for the main purpose, getting your head disconnected from the main view its a pretty good solution. Keep in mind you wont be able to adjust FOV in many such games which would make them look awful anyway in Full VR mode.

Ah, how sad, if its opengl the game will probably run on 3.0 or 3.3. No chance for 3D yet. Perhaps one day :-)

If i may give a hint on using “rjkole” profiles:
If anythings fails when trying out profiles for a given engine (e.g. UE4), its always a good idea to go through profiles marked with engine name “Special”. In this case you would try profiles from DX11 ganmes, use a “Special” engine profile from a DX9 game if your game is DX9.

“Special” profiles are different from any other profiles and give a good chance for finally finding somthing useful. UE4 is not nessecarily UE4, some settings are terribly different sometimes, thats why “Special” profiles have been created. The first thing you do is looking through all the UE4 proflies of course, but like said, you have an additional chance be going through “Special”.

Jul_18_22 – Little Update on this Game

Please ignore the DGVoodo2 profile and use Deus ex: The Fall (G3D) instead. Vorpx
underwent some changes since 2019 which allowed me to fix the game properly now.

Note: The Dgvoodoo2 profile is still working but may not look as good as the new one.

    @commander
    thanks for the feedback

Sorry, cant remember if there is a first person view. You may look at this website for more info an that. https://pcgamingwiki.com
IIRC there was a mod somewhere that allows extended camera moves, perhaps into first person as well.

    ALTERNATE PROFILE (Glide/Z3D)

This profile has way more deptch on Z3D <- Recommended ! Game has relatively low resolutions on Glide, but hey !

    – Required: DGVoodoo2 v. 2.6
    – Copy Glide Glide and Glide3.dll to /games/system/
    – Rename Wot.exe to Twot.exe
    – Start game through Twot.exe
    – Select Glide (3dfx) Renderer on game start
    – Profile available at the cloud
