    Vorpx hooks onto xplane, but its not yet supported. so there is no 3d and the fov is wrong.
    but xplane does seem to run way more smoothly than fsx and p3d.

    heres hoping ralf will add support in the future!

    @codeSlinger thanks for the info, i can cope with cheaters seen as though i play arma for the experience rather than being competitive.
    i have played arma on earlier versions of vorpx with battle eye turned on and i never got kicked from servers. maybe i just got lucky.

    the dll that is getting blocked is called “lamqvobam\unitax.dll” is this the dll from vorpx? i have googled for information but i cant find anything.

    @smokedog im having the same issue with battle eye, it fails to load a dll but i dont know if it has anything to do with the game not loading on oculus.

    @codeslinger
    would`nt disabling battle eye be a bad idea eg. hackers and cheats.

    I think I found his main problem right here:
    “Windows 10 user.”

    So yeah sounds like Windows 10 basically sucks. Ouch. Switch to Windows 7 and live happy.

    agreed, i switched like an idiot, im going back to win 7 for now. and from what i have read game frame rates are slightly less in win 10.

    @sleepings
    . what specs are your pc?

    have you had any trouble before the oculus updates? aswell as vorpx update?

    and to say “Waste of money, unprofessional company.” dude you spend your money yourself. you cannot blame Ralf for that. HE (the company) has produced a piece of software that to me at least has made the oculus worth using at all.

    £300 for a headset with imo a crap load of crap demos that last all of five minutes. less than a handfull of games that are native and then there is vorpx with countless games from 1066 to 2015 that run flawlessly.

    Ralf is a one man (vr god) operation that works very hard every day developing the only program of its cailber. he answers forum posts contantly. and receives peoples ignorance because they cannot set up their hardware properly.
    you bought a development kit that requires quite some messing around to get working and you are complaining like a noob consumer about a program that needs just as much setting up to get working.
    disabling unessential programs does not prove its vorpx fault, it could still be the oculus runtime, or your graphics drivers.

    i can see the black border all the way around, the image is square with rounded corners to me.

    it like a porthole as NipOc says. the screen looks like its about 4 or 5 inched in front of where it used to be.

    i disabled async in the vorpx menu, and while the framerate did go up a few frames the sway and porthole effect remained.

    edit: just tried battlefield 3 and i cannot see the top and bottom if i keep my head still. but if i move my head even slowly the sway shows the border all the way around.

    (sorry if this is a bad explanation :P)

    i think in my case, its my gpu. its just cant keep up with asynchronous timewarp.
    i dont have to move my head fast though. just move it a little and it looks like a flat panel (delayed) floating in front of me. youtube videos dont steam smoothly either.

    as far as 3d. i think it may just look flat because the floting screen is flat. (if that makes sense)

    all the settings are correct, fov 120, image zoom 100, pixel 1:1, 1920 1080, not in virtual cinema mode.
    i know how to set up vorpx but i havent had this problem before.

    these problems are only since 0.9 (or rintime 8 or nvidias 358.78 update)
    you are right though BuckleBean some default setting are out of whack.

    my framerates seem to be lower too, but headtracking is butter smooth.

    im getting the same effect in borderlands 2, if i sway my head it looks like a large monitor is swaying in front of me,(i can see a black border all the way around ) geometry 3d does work but still doesnt look quite 3d, znormal and adaptive look flat.

    bearing in mind im using crap hardware

    amd athlon II X4 640 3GHz
    8GB ram
    GTX 460
