I’m using Oculus Quest 2 and the game launches into VR just fine and I’m getting an excellent performance an a picture.

really?can you still play cyb2077 with vorpx?

Yeah with normal vorpx. We are referring to the stand alone Cp2077 Vorpx VR injector avaliable for free on the Vorpx website.

nah does not even work with vorpx for me since update. tried fresh install of the game as well.

I’m having the game lock up on the first screen (“cyberpunk 2077”) then drop to desktop after a mninute or three of just sitting there.
This is just using Vorpx itself, not the cyberpunk specific mod Ralf made.
Previously vorpx worked really well with the game but since the 1.6 update it wont run.

Installed vorpx, go to launch game it doesnt hook to game unless alternative hooking is ticked. Loads into the loading screen for game stalls then crashes. Also performance even if i do load in is horrendous, anyway to fix this? I expect I’ll have to go to low everything which is fine, but can’t even get to the settings.

Looks like now that CP 2077 had this huge patch Vorpx isn’t functioning either… Well F–K!!!! Bing BONG F–K ya life!!

I must say, this is highly disapointing. I will attempt to use it for Cyberpunk 2077. If that doesn’t work I certainly hope your team will be gracious enough to refund my money. You may correspond with me directly through my email if you wish. Just looking for a solution here….

I tried all, I’ve read all, how can work fine the free vorpx vr mod of Cyberpunk2077 and the pay version is zoomed ??? I try to config and ImageZoom workaround just doesn’t work. So absurd, I’m very disappointed. I’d like to get my money back.

Hi, I recently get Vorpx and im really disappointed, all is zoomed and i can’t do anything, supr menu options doesn’t work, changing customized resolution, adjust the FOV impossible. I used the free mod of Cyberpunk 2077 and it works good but with unload textures of the main characters. The pay version is zoomed. I also tried Chivalry and ZOOMED! I have a Radeon RX 5700 Xt and ive paid near 40E for nothing.

@fubar – Generally speaking you are correct, but there are exceptions. Very well done games will take full advantage of the 8K-X even on today’s cards. I run a 3080 Ti and Alyx, TWD Saints and Sinners, Assetto Corsa, and a few others I can run at Wide FOV at 100% Steam SS or greater and at very high quality settings.

Assetto Corsa especially shines with SOL + CSP + Rain Effects. It’s almost beyond believing how amazing that looks. I enjoy driving around the ring, at night, in thunderstorms, with fireworks.

It’s times like that which make the Pimax HMDs worth the incredible PITA it can be getting everything working right.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the 12k, I hope Pimax has most of the kinks worked out; I would love to see CP2077 on that puppy though vorpX!

    >Hi, I’m testing standalone and runs pretty good, but cannot change dialog options using Oculus Q2 in gamepad mode.

Alright, figured it out, I needed to hold trigger to switch left stick mode!

Overall works nice, although on my i5-12600k + GTX 1080, VR mode: Z-Index, Nice setting I have sometimes brutal FPS dips which I guess may be expected. But roughly 40 FPS on avg makes it playable for me.

Don’t really like gestures so far, but gamepad emulation from Oculus controllers is already a godsend to me.

Overall feels like CP2077 is game just begging for VR so thanks so much for this! Will definitely consider buying Vorpx for other flat games.

For me this would be a risky purchase. Unless I was super keen on this game I would wait for a discount sale to try it. Although you can use the steam refund program, if you can get your testing done before the 2 hour playtime mark.

I knew nothing of this game, but here is what I learned by briefly searching key words among the steam discussions.

    -Unreal Engine 4 game (good)
    -dx12 (bad)
-no mention of FOV increase options (bad)
-cockpit camera video looks like it may have very limited movement, locked to the horizon (bad)

dx12 is the major obstacle here, as we only have a handful of profiles to test with currently. I’ll just say that out of 4 unofficial dx12 games in my library, only 1 has worked with Z3D. And yes, dx12 is Z3D only at this point.

Here are the profiles I would try:

    Grounded
    CyberPunk 2077
    Rdr2
    Resident Evil Village
    Horizon Zero Dawn
    Death Stranding
    Deathloop
    Dying Light 2

And remember that the true exe for UE4 games are hidden inside the Binaries/Win64 folder and always end with the words “shipping.exe”

Ah, I see. I interpreted ‘2 screen presentation’ as the two screens in the start room, and hence thought you couldn’t enter the actual game. Top candidate for the most funny misreading of the month. :)

Sounds indeed as if both mods are active at the same time. The other one probably puts a dxgi.dll (or maybe d3d12.dll) in the game’s binary folder ([CP2077]\bin\x64). Removing that should suffice to disable the mod.

Been a while since I’ve played CP2077 but hopping back in to finish the Map in the upper right is way off the screen as well as the grenades etc in bottom left. I’m using a 4:3 resolution which I believe I should be.

Before when I adjusted HUD horizontal I was able to actually have the map move more to the center of the screen. Unfortunately now it doesn’t

On top of that when I hit click and save it resets all the settings to the default VorpX settings. Searching the forums I see some mentions of HUD issues but no actual fix.m

Any insight would be great. TIA

Thought i’d make a list as iv’e been trying out some more games with VorpX:

    1: Red Dead Redemption 2
    2: Cyberpunk 2077
    3: Prey (2017) & Mooncrash
4: Space Hulk Deathwing Enhanced Edition
    5: Shadow Warrior 2

Games that i have not played yet but i have tested them with VorpX & they work good once i set the game & VorpX settings to my liking so will probably be added to my list once i have played more:

    Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
    The Outer Worlds
    Resident Evil 7
    Chernobylite
