I’m having the same problem. New install of WOFF / BHAH 2 and VorpX.
CH joystick and pedals work. TrackIR works. I set up Vorpx with a file for WOFF and it gets me into WOFF game.
But I can’t get to the In-Game Settings menu to click Head Tracking “ON” so I’ve got no head tracking in VR.
Tried everything we could think of today including the Del key; nothing works.
What Ralf says above gets me to thinking I might be able to access the In-Game Settings Menu with my hand controllers. Probably try that tomorrow.
@Todt von Oben, did you succeed to run Woff in VR and if so, how is Woff running in VR? Is VR in Woff like FC in VR?
I hope this post isn’t considered rude to just throw out a suggestion/request like this.
Vorpx already has the ability to have controllors/floating hands over the game. Maybe a folder in the Vorpx installation where the hand models/textures are stored in a format that people can swap models/textures out between games. The Idea being that people like me go find and or make models/textures compadible and be able to have custom has as desired.
@ mateuszw
That is definitely not supposed to happen. Never heard of anything like that before, so there isn#t really anthing useful I can suggest. I’ll check whether I can replicate the issue with Index controllers.
@ beemzy
Sounds as if I might have missed a shader when doing the HUD shader fixes, unfortunately 1.63 broke the prior shader definitions. It would help a lot if you could upload a savegame that exhibits the glitch you encountered. You can send it as an e-mail attachment to support at vorpx com.

EDIT: It resets cursor location to the center in both mapping modes but only in equipment menu. And additionally in “controller” mapping, the rectangle cursor changes for a moment to mouse cursor when bug occurs.
Yes, I know, but it would be a great upgrade when you can rotate a character based on controllers orientation. It would replace turning based on stick and it would be possible to play standing and rotate body free. But I don’t know if it is technically possible, it is only my little suggestion :)
But now i have a bigger problem related to VR controllers. When I’m in fist fight mode when I move any of thumbsticks fast (to move a character or rotate), the game interprets it also as hit command. Also when I’m in any game menu, it reads fast thumbstick movement as “A” button, so it selects buttons when I’m moving cursor above them. This bug is both in gamepad and mouse/keyboard mapping mode, but when I’m in mouse / keyboard mode it additionally resets mouse location to center of the screen. I’m using Valve Index controllers. Is it something wrong in my settings or it is a bug?
Ok, you’re right – it works good with controllers. I played most games with mouse / keyboard – less immersive but better controllable.
So another question – it is possible to add turning based on controller / head direction when moving? More like as in VR games. I very fast loose awareness of my body orientation and direction of movement surprises me…
Use your motion controllers instead, motion controller turning is factored into the frame generation algorithm, mouse input isn’t. That aside motion controller gestures and aiming make the game feel fairly close to playing a native VR title, even seated if you prefer that. It’s an outright ridiculous thought to play any other way.
At the moment program is not giving me anything, I can’t chainge the VR-mode or controller but I really wanted to play those games VR, so I am not ready to give up yet.
Is it possible to chainge those settings other way? Not in in-game menu.
As of this week’s update, now when I run “Start vorpX”, I get a warning saying “vorpx Control is already running” requiring that I dismiss a dialog every time I start vorpX!
Other observations:
1. I re-installed from scratch to see if it helps (it doesn’t)
2. Vorpx does not start working until after I “Start vorpX”
3. Vorpx tray icon doesn’t show until after I “Start vorpX”
4. No warning after I exit from the tray icon and restart
Is this something that broke in the latest update? Is there some phantom process running on my system that I can’t see? Is vorpService doing more than it used to?
Ok…I think I’ve found the problem.
Windows 11 has stupid power options even for desktop computer.
I’ve put the power option on “Best performance” and there is no judder anymore.
So yes, It was a stability problem, hardware, but software controlled.
@Ralph : you could add this advice for desktop users (most VorpX users I guess) if it’s not already done.
Also controller is not opening the menu, i tried to reinstall vorpx because the beta shows me the error code
First please check whether you may have any tools running that affect keyboard input. Things that remap input, record macros or do anything even remotely like that. If so, uninstall them.
You can also use a gamepad to access the vorpX menu, left thumbstick button (or right, always forget which one). All three methods are totally independent from each other, so if neither keyboard, nor gamepad or motion controllers work, I really have no clue what might be the issue.
Maybe try a factory reset in the config app in that case (trouble shooting page).
If you currently use the regular vorpX build, trying the beta might also be worth a shot. Incidentally it changes how keyboard input gets evaluated, maybe that solves your problem:
vorpX 23.1.0 BETA
Okay I’ll shout it off, but that wasn’t the poroblem, tried it first without admin rights.
Yes my plan is to play ESO via motion controllers or gamepad but by what I know, the controller is chainged from In game menu as well, so is there other way to chainge those settings?
Don’t run vorpX as admin unless necessary, that may cause all sorts of weird issues on modern systems. Among them input issues, Windows considers access rights when input gets captured. Usually it shouldn’t, but it doesn’t sound impossible that in one or the other game that may lead to shortcuts not working if vorpX runs as admin but the game does not.
The only reason why you would want to run vorpX with admin rights is if a game requires admin rights – typically fairly old games from the Windows XP era and before. There is no other reason than that to run vorpX as admin.
If it still doesn’t work afterwards for some reason, you can try your motion controllers or gamepad to access the menu.
