OK, i can not believe it ! The official vorpx cyberpunk profile is full compatible to Phantom Liberty ? I thought it is compatible to 2.0 without installed Phantom Liberty DLC ?

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and in few days the dlc, too. No other vorpx game is better optimized.

But you can also play The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Enhanced Edition, it is very good optimized, too.

    @gtuf:

Not really sure what to suggest here except making sure that your Cyberpunk install is up-to-date. Launching the Oculus/Meta app beforehand can’t hurt either.

    @dave.

It works with CP 2077 2.0, with or without Phantom Liberty installed.

Night City has been unusually kind this time around. Due to what I can only call a major wonder just a few adjustments had to be made.

is available. Mainly adds compatibility with Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

Does the Version alpha 9a support Phantom Liberty, too ?

While I haven’t tried a FIFA game with vorpX for a while, I’d imagine that they might have switched from DX11 to DX12 with FIFA23. Just a guess though. You could try any DX12 profile to check whether at least that way you can get the game showing in the headset.

Profiles you can try for example are: Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, The Last of Us. No 3D-guarantee of course when trying these, but if hooking in general works, you at least know what the culprit was.

Incidentally I have FIFA23 in my Steam library. Don’t have it installed currently, but I’ll look into it.

Phantom Liberty DLC is out !

I will try to get it working with an user Z3D Profile only to have a first short impression for the waiting time, until Ralf releases his big fat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty AFR 3D Mod Update !

Did you actually read anything that I suggested to read above? The mod does not work with Cyberpunk 2.0 yet.

The CET coder(s) need to update CET for CP2077 2.0, and on top of that I *may* also have to update the mod itself if the CP2077 update breaks more than just CET.

Hi Ralf. Thanks so much for your help. I dont think I have downloaded the update. I have tried everything I have found online and disabled updates etc n steam and via files. See below –

    – Install Cyberpunk 2077 and turn of updates.

    – Turn on read only in appmanifest_1091500

    – Dropped CyberEngineTweaks-1.25.2

    – Swapped the bin folder x64

    – Turned off overlays

Nothing seems to work now. Earlier everything worked but the veiwport was in a rectangle. Now nothing works at all. I have deleted and uninstalled 10 times but nothing.

I will try to explain the issue I’m facing as best as I can.

I dream of strolling through Night City in VR.
I saw on YouTube that it was possible to live this experience thanks to this mod, which finally convinced me to buy a Quest 2.
So, I deleted my game, which was filled with mods, to start fresh with a clean, vanilla installation. I eagerly install the holy grail (the VR mod) and inform the mod that I’m using an Oculus.

I launch the game, but I’m met with a black screen and a crash back to the desktop.

I try to find a solution, but I can’t seem to find much. I read somewhere that I should install the Cyber Engine Tweak mod, which I did, but when I retest, the same crash back to the desktop happens.

So, I’m reaching out to you to understand what’s going wrong because it’s extremely frustrating to read comments from others for whom it works perfectly fine. Thank you for helping me with my problem.

I bought VorpX and tried this profile, and in general, it works, however, I have some problems:

    – The picture seems distorted when I move my head: it’s warping, like looking through a thick glass maybe, the perspective seems not to be correct, especially closer to the edges. This is very disorienting. How can I fix this?
    – With the resolution set to 2880×2884 the mouse cursor stops at the top and bottom before reaching the end of the screen, as if there’s a letterbox for it. So some menus etc. are unreachable.
    – I also have some wobble in closer objects. This may be motion reprojection artifacts, not sure.
    – I tried installing “Starfield Frame Generation” mod but the game crashes. This may be the mod problem or a conflict with VorpX.

You have the wrong perspective, and the problem with the mouse cursor stops at letterbox, because the aspect ratio of 1:1, the square resolution, the removed letterboxes, the window mode instead of borderless or fullscreen, the FOV, the HUD and the interface are full coordinated to each other.

You can improve your image quality by installing reshade and use for example smartsharp or fakeHDR. Reshade has tons of shader to modify the game for your needs. With your RTX 4090 and the resolution of 2880×2880 smartsharp is higly recommend.

But in general you will have to tolerate a little flickering there, and some missing texture or shader there, and a little bit distortion when you move head it looks through a thick glass.

You need the initial experience that you will forget all those things when your game is at its biggest moments, and you will sit back and say only “Wow, i will never play any game without VR !”

You brain will remove these little troubles after a longer time using vorpx. You will get like smell blind or like operationally blind for those little bugs.

I promise you after you have finished Starfield and for example Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty and Baldurs Gate 3 with vorpx in VR, then you will agree with me.

I wanted to get Armored Core 6 working with VorpX and tried it with multiple different Local Profiles (was about to try Cyberpunk 2077 next). As usual, I was only ever allowed to add a single file in ‘Add file” for “Assigned Programs”. I would “Remove” the file before trying another profile. Problem persists after restarting the PC and I couldn’t find any filenames matching the Profiles names for deletion.

You must use any dx12 profile. Cyberpunk2077 for exemple.
