VorpX does not hook to Metro Last Light for me in DX11. It looks like 2 separate monitors and there is no vorpX menu when pressing Del. I launched it directly from Steam and then created a desktop shortcut for MetroLL from vorpX tray icon, switched between “Use system settings” (Rift as primary display) and “Show on Rift DK2” (Rift as secondary display) and get the same result. I also tried all applicable steps from “basic troubleshooting” section of the forum, same result. The only time it worked was on DX9, only once and I had no Geometry 3D option, only Z-buffer, but after I exited and launched the game again I always got the black screen freeze.
I finished Metro 2033 with no problems on DX9 and Geometry 3D so it would be a shame not to be able to continue the saga. I understand that DX9 either triggers the black screen freeze or doesn’t work in Geometry 3D but I want to play it at least in DX11 with Z-buffer. I am on Radeon GPU, latest drivers installed, Oculus runtime 0.5.0.1, Windows 8.1 64bit.
Please help
You can check and change associated key to this function in the settings vorpx,external menu:
Ingame key binding section, second option, edge peek,(press desired key)
remember to save the changes :)
Elder scroll online,advice extra:I take this opportunity to recommend that:
Preset sweetfx near perfection 2.0, is injected through radeon pro 1.5 or 1.4 for Windows 8/8.1…This preset get a lot more beautiful game!
Greetings.
Thank you for your response,
Well, i wish it works in future developments.
i think the 0.8.1 version is a very good base for a very playable World of Warcraft 3D in cinema mode
And sorry if my post isn’t in the good section of the forum :)
Since I already have a very big list for the “Wishlist” Thread I think it would be good to update it with those sections. A spreadsheet should also be a lot neater than just forum posts.
I’ll try to update whenever I or others have new results (and the time).
Here goes the list:

Hi there!
I found some usefull .ini-tweaks for the FOV and tested them. It work really good.
I found them originally here:
Its written in the text but in short: to change the games FOV permanently put fDefaultWorldFOV=120 at the END of the [Display] section, it helps, you dont have to set FOV everytime in the console.
Also very helpful, to increase the FOV of the weapons and the Pipboy in front of you. I think they are much to near in front of my view. I changed it to:
fPipboy1stPersonFOV=80.0
fDefault1stPersonFOV=110.0000
The other interface-settings which are listed below I havn’t tested so far, but also the settings described above makes the experienve much more comfortable. The benefit is that you don’t have to use vorpX’ force fov-command in the menue. When you do it with this ini-tweaks it seems you have no visual glitches.
sure yep its C:\Program Files (x86)\Codemasters\GRID\system\hardware_settings_restrictions.xml
near the bottom there is a section looks like this, change it to these settings
<data>
<res mem=”4096″ maxWidth=”1920″ />
</data>
good luck
vorpX only provides head tracking in games with mouselook per default. Positional tracking is Skyrim only currently.
You can setup vorpX to act as gamepad on the input page of the ingame menu for some head tracking in F1 2013 and similar games, but that’s not the best option. It’s better to use an external program like OpenTrack (which might not be DK2 ready yet though). Unfortunately we can’t implement similar TrackIR emulation due to legal reasons.
If you use Windows 8, please check the Windows 8 sticky in the general forum section.
