Ralf, I noticed that going into Photo mode crashes the game. Is this normal or?

I was able to get it to work by deleting the ENTIRE game folder and doing a fresh install. Thanks for being available Ralf!

I don’t know if there was a game update yesterday but the mod doesn’t go into VR. I played the day b4 yesterday in glorious VR but Steam auto-updated my game, then, I downloaded the most recent one about 20 mins ago.
    What can I do?
    Thanks in Advance

When it comes to improving framerate, I’ve found that enabling DLSS is by far the biggest single factor. Without DLSS, even with low graphics my framerate wasn’t okay. With DLSS cranked I can set graphic settings on medium or high and run 4k resolution (just no raytracing).

    Won’t DLSS reduce graphical quality?

Okay so I tried the ‘Other Mod’ and this is my fair conclusion: It runs smooth and has a fairly large start-up resolution. I uninstalled it quick.
The Vorpx version will remain my PERMANENT cyberpunk 2077 vr mod. After using the gesture controllers and the tweaking options you get with the mod, the xbox controller method is too restricting (to me). I tried it out to see what the fanfare was about. Don’t get me wrong, he did a good & commendable job. It just sacrifices a certain ‘fluidity’ if you know what I mean.
I ALWAYS inform people of Ralf’s version and they come out shocked mostly because there’s NO publicity for this groundbreaking achievement.
Is the Vorpx version perfect? No it’s not but it’s the closest we get to a full blown VR experience of Night city and all it contains. The mod is so cool that I LITERALLY have my arm ache because I physically have to wield my Katana :) and it’s FREE!!!
Kinda hurts that the VR sector would be this biased.
Kudos again to you guys at Vorpx and trust that your efforts will be PROPERLY acknowledged once it’s time.
PS. I’m not just some drooling fanboy, I’m currently building my own Open-World VR experience, so I kinda have an idea of how to appreciate a good VR mod.

Hi Ralf, is there anyway to make edge peek optional?

Funny how I was able to get VERY smooth Ultra settings at 1920×1080 with ridiculously impressive framerates on my RTX 2060, 16gb RAM laptop.
I switched the Vorpx resolution to Ok-ish and cranked up the in-game quality to Ultra.
I however either reduced or turned off certain features I wouldn’t need:
    Volumetric clouds- OFF
    Volumetric fog- MEDIUM
Motion Blur- This is tricky, because it kinda solves the dizzying, rotating issue but ultimately blurs your weapons. The Mantis blades looked ugly. Anyways, I turned it off.
Now here’s a heads-up: Once you change these settings, RESTART the game & once it loads, give it some 20-30 seconds to fully load and BOOM!
    Worked for me.
    Beautifully.

@Ralf is there any way one can use Reshade in VR with this beautiful mod?

I think the new hot-fix update that just released may have broken VR functionality…

I’ve got this new PC and had been playing fine for about a day, this new update hits, I load up Cyberpunk and edgepeek doesn’t work and its 2D (and for some reason looked way worse graphically) so anyone else experience this? Or am I an outlier here…

I’ve currently uninstalled and am re-installing through steam (not sure if there was a way to roll back versions..) hoping that the fresh install won’t have the hotfix embedded into it? then I can switch off auto-updates before it auto-updates.. I’m getting desperate, I’ve had a taste and I need more!

I tried running the game outside of steam & everything’s intact after watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UdzSNJeZik
