    @dellrifter22

    Yes the Conarium profile seems to work in G3D but it needs tweaking.

    Tried Conarium profile. Some of the textures glow.

    I think is better Abzu profile. Dont have the problem with the textures, G3D, decent performance. HUD scale and pov enhancement not working, but enjoying a lot the game. I think Ralf can get a full working profile and a really good experience in this AAA game.

    Hi,

    Im having problems trying to hook up Jedi. it doesn’t pass the launcher screen.
    Using origin version.

    Tried normal and alternative methods without success.

    Got it. Had to disable the Origin game overlay.

    It is a good experience. Audio is superb in the game which is a perfect partner for a VR experience. Real creepy game.
    For those who wants to try, remember that you have it actually on the Microsoft Game pass for PC, with a few promotions (I think you have in the Xbox PC app for Windows 10, a promotion with 3 months for 4€).

    Hi Ralf,

    Very interesting feature.

    Will be any tool to “hunt” the problematic shadder?

    Awesome news!!!

    Firstly, BIG ups to Ralf and d0kt0r for bringing us this profile. Sounds like a lot of hours went into it. Both G3D and Z3D look really amazing.

    d0kt0r, not sure if this helps in any way for DMC5 but I also got a similar fatal exit application when running this profile with RE2 stock settings. I was able to fix it by launching the game vanilla and turning graphic settings down then relaunching with vorpx.

    dborosev, are you by chance running any mods in your game folder? When I first launched the new RE2 profile it worked perfectly. I wanted to try it in first person so I installed the mod which worked on its own and in the past with vorpx using the RE7 profile. Now it seems to be causing hooking issues with this profile. I was having the same error messages as you when trying to restore the profile but a factory reset worked. I got the profile working again by just replacing the game folder with a backup I had. Hopefully a game reinstall fixes the issue for you.

    If anyone else got this profile to run in first person give a shout! But looks great as is.

    Hi Nikolai!
    Yep! That was exactly the issue on DmC5. I will create another post related to DmC5 with all the info so far.
    Thanks!

    @Ralf, Yes I tried all the usual suspects, even tried creating a VorpX shortcut.
    I’ll play around with it some more this weekend to see what else it could be. If I’m the odd man out, then it must be something in my environment causing it. But at least you have one non-working sample, in case anyone else reports the same. I’ll report back later if I figure it out. Thx.
    @doktor, I noticed he credited the wrong person too. 😉

    Headtracking in inmersive is working fine here. There are a few tips to enable/disable headtracking based on gamepad (vorpx menu inside the game). You should try it. If you dont get it done, Ill check my config.

    Tested the new RE2 geometry profile and it is GORGEOUS. Tweak the graphics menu based on your graphic card performance, but with a good light quality, the environment on the darkness is absolute jaw-breaking.

    About DmC5 :
    I’ve tried the new geometry RE2 Remake and the older RE7 profile. None of them works, the game throws a Fatal exit application in a D3D dll.
    About the fix line, you have to create it inside “dmc5config.ini”. If you dont have this ini file, you will have to run the game at least one time.
    Special careful with the DX12. You dont have the option inside the game to change Directx, and you have to do it here on the config file aditional to the mentioned “UseVendorExtention”.
    dmc5config.ini
    [Render]
    PCTargetAPIFallback=Enable
    Capability=DirectX12
    TargetPlatform=DirectX11
    UseVendorExtention=Disable
    UseOptimizeShader=Enable
    LastCrashReport=

    @ Du1g0 : That hint was pure gold! I spent hours with this thing shortly after release without getting anywhere…

    Don’t get overly excited yet, but if all goes well I *might* have a working profile later today.

    Hahaha. It is always great that credits goes to someone else :-D

    By the way Ralf, this line of configuration edit should be the same for another RE Engine title : Devil May Cry 5.
    As far as I know, you have to write the line inside the config file (it is not even there in the ini file). But after writing it, it should be fixed.

    I will try it with the same RE 2 cloud profile and the change in the ini file.

    Cheers,

    It is not z3d or g3d. Only certain effects have 3D, like the rain or sparks in the air.

    Anyway, Im enjoying it. It is better than the normal experience due to inmersion inside the HMD.

    Hi,

    Using DX11, and changing in the re2_config.ini to :
    UseVendorExtention=Disable

    You can use the RE7 profile.

    Seems to be somekind of 3D (I’ve checked that on the city behind the Resident Evil title).

    At least for me, I think I’ll give a shot the game with that.

    Hope it helps,

    Hi Ralf,

    Any advance on RE2?

    Hi Ralf,

    Haven’t tried all of this myself due to lack of time, but it might be useful.

    If You Have an Nvidia Card, You Can Play Resident Evil 2, Battlefield V, etc in Glorious Full 3D!
    by inoculus

    Obviously the part of the virtual desktop in Oculus is not relevant for vorpx, but particularly interested on the 3D vision, and the mod/fix to get 3D in SBS (not native but at least is something).

    http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2019/03/resident-evil-2.html

    In fact, If I recall correctly from my tests. The 3D in vorpx was fully broken, as you have 2 different things in each lens (like the 3D wasn’t working). So, it might a solution.
