Thanks Ralf ! You know, I bought VorpX years ago, as soon as it became available for sale. I have to admit that I wasn’t terribly impressed then. But over the years, the vast improvements you have made have resulted in me NOT buying non-native VR games if they don’t work in VorpX. It has become central to my gaming life. The latest examples are this game, War on the Sea, but also Victory at Sea: Pacific, Atlantic Fleet, Celestial Command, Valheim, Bomber Crew, and Astrox Imperium. None of these are officially supported but they all work great with VorpX. Anyway, a big thank you for creating this piece of software and keep up the great work !

Hi, i used the Firewatch profile and it worked, kinda. I have no mouse and the vorpx mouse is not placed correctly. What is the generic Unity-Enigine profile?
Cheers

Under Local Profiles, there’s a Unity 5 Base Profile. I simply used that one and my mouse functions are fine.

camera mod on nexus is broken, but you can easily change settings manually with whatever fov you want for 1st person in

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\

open BannerlordConfig.txt and set FirstPersonFov=120 or whatever

What does that do ? Is the game better with 120 FOV ?

I assume this is without an depth, just virtual screen with flat image.

Nope, it’s 3D. Plenty of depth.

Thanks for this ! It looks great in VR ! Now, if only there was a decent LotR total conversion :)… or a port of Prophesy of Pendor !

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. When I launch the game I see the DU logo in the Rift and get the launcher on my monitor, but not in my Rift. When I launch the game, it launches normally on my monitor but goes back to the Oculus store within the Rift.

Hi, how do you get it to start ? I’ve downloaded the profile but it doesn’t seem to latch on to the game. As soon as Oculus starts, it goes straight to the store.

That’s probably it, the GoG version, I mean. The .exe in Steam is named specifically after Steam…

I imported the profile but when I launch in Steam, it says that there’s no profile for rebelgalaxysteam.exe It plays only in 2D

Ok, seems I can use the mouse clicks from inside VorpX but not on the monitor. Previously, I could also do it on the monitor. Not sure what has changed. Ralf, don’t waste time with this, I can make it work even if it’s slightly more inconvenient than before. And thanks for your great work; M&B:W looks awesome with VorpX.

Sounds more like an input focus issue than something directly related to vorpX. Try ALT+TAB out of the game and back, also switching between fullscreen/windowed or vice versa is worth a try.

Nope, same thing in windowed mode and fullscreen. Again, the cursor highlights selections (such as “load game”). It just doesn’t take the click.

Let me ask another question:
Typically on menus, when you hover over an option, it highlights, or raises, or something, and then you click on it. Like in this video, the selection is highlighted in yellow, and then you can click to go further:

<span class=”embed-youtube” style=”text-align:center; display: block;”>[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nie2f6WU5c?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&autohide=2&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=transparent&w=490&h=276%5D</span>

In the Mount and Blade menu, does the button highlight to show that you are hovering over it? The reason I ask is that sometimes because of resolution scaling, etc. the actual mouse location can vary. For instance, if you used the keyboard to navigate and get to your actual game, I’m guessing you can actually swing your sword by left-clicking, and that is recognized? (I’m just guessing that left clicking swings a sword, but have you tried actual game play, and does mouse clicking work then?)

Yes, there are highlights when I mouse over something in the start menu. I’ve tried Alt-tabbing out and back in. Same issue. I’ll try windowed vs full screen now and see if anything happens.
