grodenglaiveParticipant
Never mind! It’s all good now and running better than before too.
I have disabled ovrservice and, more importantly, remembered to start steamvr BEFORE vorpx. Then start Fallout4. :)grodenglaiveParticipantI’m very happy to hear vive support is coming along. I’ve been using vorpx with DK2 and have gotten great use out of it. :)
grodenglaiveParticipantvorpX and Steam get along just fine.
I’m not sure about Morrowind, its a different engine.grodenglaiveParticipantSkyrim does feel better now. Trying to upscale the res now with the extra performance.
Anyone know how to fix the black bars covering the right and bottom of my screen after I use the upscale internal resolution (2.00) with Z3D on? When I turn 3D off they are removed, when I turn Z3D back on, they come back.
Did you try it in G3D?
grodenglaiveParticipantalready did
grodenglaiveParticipantOK it’s all good now.
By the way I’m naming you my kids godfather, I hope you don’t mind :)grodenglaiveParticipantOK, my vorpx is linking to TESV.exe not the SkyrimLauncher.exe
I have SKSE installed through Steam; possibly it is different if you installed it manually, I don’t know.F:\Games\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe
(My steam apps is probably in a different locale than yours, but if you search for TESV.exe you should find it)It works whether I launch Skyrim from nexus mod manager or directly from Steam.

grodenglaiveParticipantHey, check out Ralf’s response from the Fallout 4 issue, it might work for you:
It was a DK2 issue, and you can apply a fix immediately if you want. I will release an update later today.
To apply the fix manually please
1. Close vorpX if currently running.
2. Browse to C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Animation Labs\vorpX\Devices
3. Open OculusRiftDK2.ini with Notepad
4. Search for iTimewarpMode
5. Change iTimewarpMode=0 to iTimewarpMode=10
6. Save the file
7. Restart vorpXThe AppData folder may be invisible. If so, please enable “Show hidden files” in Windows Explorer
grodenglaiveParticipantIt still works for me. I’ll take a look at my settings tonight.

Anyway – I’m off to test skyrim next…grodenglaiveParticipantthanks Ralf – you are awesome!
Apr 10, 2016 at 2:29pm in reply to: [SOLVED] Fallout 4 – Head tracking problem with Vorpx 16.1.1 #100564grodenglaiveParticipantI forgot to say I’m using a DK2.
Apr 10, 2016 at 2:17pm in reply to: [SOLVED] Fallout 4 – Head tracking problem with Vorpx 16.1.1 #100562grodenglaiveParticipantYes Ive applied the game optimizer and its still the same. Pip boy mode head tracking is reversed, normal view head tracking is doubled.
A thought has just occurred to me ..I remember when I originally set up fallout 4 with vorpx the head tracking in the up and down axis was 50% what it needed to be and I changed some settings in the .ini file iirc. Could this be causing this?
silly me I forgot to do that (and I’ve been using vorpx since DK1 days).
OK FOV fixed, but something is still messed up with the headtracking. It’s hard to describe, but when I look right or left I the screen peels away from my view and I see off the edge of the screen; almost like it’s in cinema mode. -
