Dont worry, just games I can reimport them and rearrange. Seems I had a crash in the moment the update came in, played around with vorpx that time causing a crash maybe messing around with the shadertool too much.
Hi Ralf, all the downloaded User profiles dissapeared from my local profile list and with it all my tweakings with them. Came it from the update or did I press the wrong button ? Please help.
Didnt have the time watching the whole video, but there are two newer videos on his youtube channel covering RE7 maybe you dont saw them?
Playing Oddworld Abe Remastred, RJK profile is really clean but if you can live with a destroyed main menu(not disfunctional) you can crank up the strength to 5.0 yes you now… mind boggling.
Lately also played Halflife episode 2 also very impressive with AA @ 16xAny background app producing overlays? wrong Dx version? ingame settings ? all tested ?
Is it a official profile ? otherwise you can use the shadertool ..Hello, did you try VorpX ingame menu (press del), trying different 3d modes or turning shadows off in the shadow treatment option. Just a guess dont own the game.
Played for a half hour no crashes so far, for WMR users I’d like to add :start your WMR client and steamVR up front otherwise you will never get into this game because the second time you start it , it fails with the 201 error. Last question would be how to draw back my old profile?
Hi Ralf, Vr devs aside whats good for VorpX has it alot Cpu usage or do need a good amount of Vram ? Is it 1:1 comparable with 2d performance ? Only you know. As for the benchmark we could use the Unity benchmark (dont know the name yet) posting 2d and 3d results for a first rough comparison.
Must unfortunately confirm that you have to always reboot the whole pc to get it working again (error 201). The title screen glitch doesnt hurt so much.
Everything is playable but I’m starting to feel it. I think a 2080ti should get the job done.
We need some benchmarks to confirm that, maybe AMD cards outperform Nvidia in VorpX nobody really knows?

Or are there some later problems ?I just tried the first bit. Strange thing I noticed with your profile was I have now english narritive and no gamepad support.
@ RJK ok wasnt that hard since theres a import button, game starts but there comes a critical error prevents Vorpx from doin magic Error code 201
Maybe coz Im downloaded first :) Ok I see then it makes sense to use them. And aside the controllers did you proceed in game and can tell some impressions ? Maybe we can make it better all together ?
No probs, everybody hurts sometimes as REM told me ;) I will try your profile, soon I found out how to get it imported, first time I do this, Im curious..
Maybe benzoylperoxide can give a final statement, how it works for him. We have all so different HW specs and HMDs and tastes hard for VorpX to handle.
One thing I wonder why would people prefer those clunky Hmd controllers over a proper gamepad in these kind of games. Imagine myself with the WMR controllers seperate in both hands not to mention they loose energy real fast.
