Hi, i did a little test run seems ok to me, have you tried the depth slider or the focal one via the Vorpx menu (del key) maybe our eyes are diffrent on this ?
BTW I have a WMR headset.
And yes you have to rename the Exe to game1.exe.
oh and i forgot… its on sale right now steam price 4,99 €
device selection in general settings on steam vr ?
Hi, need more details… does the steam client startup with the game, does the attaching message appear ? or just nothing ? Did you try the administrator checkbox in the settings ? can you name some games you have tried ?Aug 25, 2020 at 12:43am in reply to: How Do We Use Custom Profiles If Default Profile Can't Be Reassigned? #196713
did test justcause 3 and could make it g3d with the MadMax profileAug 24, 2020 at 10:03pm in reply to: How Do We Use Custom Profiles If Default Profile Can't Be Reassigned? #196710
… this prog is really small
here is how to use.
Browse to your local folder of your game and find the exe of that game.
Then make a copy and rename the copy to i.e. gamename2.
Startup Steamedit and make sure that the little game controller icon is shimmering green.
Now select your game from the list to the left (It will show all your steam games) and click the Edit Launch button left below. Put into the tab “Executable” the name of your copied exe. Press Ok. Do a Save and refresh with the button right, it will restart steam. Now important only start the game(your new exe) from the folder not from the steamlibary. I’m also a bit new to it so still in testing. But I got “Gattling Gears” running dispite its game.exe and managed to trick Vorpx to think INSIDE has no profile.Aug 24, 2020 at 9:38pm in reply to: How Do We Use Custom Profiles If Default Profile Can't Be Reassigned? #196709
Hi guys had the same problem over a year because I have 3 games with the name game.exe on my vorpx tryout list (Its reserved for a other game). Also I wanted to give Inside a deeper look in exchange for switching off some shaders ;) . But as you know in official profiles you cannot use the shadertool. The only way to achieve this would be to rename the exe file of the game. But here is the problem gaming clients such as steam prevent you from doing so…
One option would be looking for the cracked.exe to get rid of steam but Dont do that !
For Steam I found a working program which is able to rename your exe and save it to your local steam configuration.
Make yourself a picture all I know Ive tried and it worked :)
Hi, RJK tested your profile, it does work. I have played for 30 minutes and reached the point where I met Alberto the mechanic. There are some shadow issues later in game. No problem for me I switched to no sdr and turned off vertex shader 3511972867(dont know if they are dynamically produced), but maybe you want to take a deeper look. Greetz
OK, first step would be to open the VorpX Control app, in the menu on the left choose “local profiles” in the middle there is a window now representing your VorpX delivered profiles, now look up for Titanfall 2 profile and mark it, in a small window to the right are 2 exe names make shure they match the exe name of your titanfall2 installation exe, otherwise VorpX starts in a generic mode and maybe fail.
If your exe name differs from the exe names in VorpX go to the “create new profile from this …” button below check the import settings with yes. Now there is a new profile in your local list, its marked blue and has the name Titanfall 2 copy.
Click on it look at the right window and press the add button , search in the upcoming file requestor after your Titanfall 2 exe and press OK. Know it should work.
Then there are some general problems which can occure, sometimes its good to have all clients (steamvr ect.) started upfront. In vorpX control you can allow admin rights and alternativ hooking in some cases it helps too. Also a noob thing would be coming into a game and have the view not centered (Alt-Space !)
Bonjour, does the attaching window for Titanfall 2 appear ? If not create a new profile from the official profile, make shure to import all the settings with it and then add the exe of your origin installation to it.
For the second one, yeah I dont like it myself that the official profiles are not marked wether they are G3D or Z3D. Last time I bought Just Cause 3 and was a bit disappointed when I found out it only has z3d :( I think Ralf should mark them so people know the deal before.
Yes, yeah its a pity there is no overall game list a good approach would be RJKs game list

Hi, my favorites are 3rd person games and 2,5d scrollers.
At the moment I play Vanquish also i would mention
Bulletstrom, Mass Effect 3, Ryse Son of Rome, Batman AA and so on, all G3d and you can max the depth (5.0) . If I have trouble with shadows I go into the shadertool and switch them off. 2,5d scrollers I have tested SineMora Ex,Castlevania Mirror of Fate, Flashback 2013 looking all awesome.
But there is so much more….
Hi Ralf dont get me wrong Im really satisfyed with VorpX its not your fault Valve uses the name over and over again. And I know HL2 is looking good in VorpX but recently a friend gifted me Portal 2 and out of curiousity I changed a few values not in mind that it changed the settings for HL2E2 too so here we are. Nice weekend.
Hi I did a short test and it hooks must be your setup.
Anyway I would not promote VorpX with Half Life 2 and Co.
Theres 1 profile for 5 or more ? games if you want to modify 1 you change settings for all of them, I know you can change the exe name but steam makes updates now and then (latly all week it seems) and then nothing works again. I tried half life 2 episode 2 for this test, came into the main menu all messed up again, you can barely read the menus, shadows flickering in the background, did factory reset the profile no improvment. I used to play this episode fine in 1600×900 but with 16xaa and it was a nice experience I was tinkering for hours to achive this.. but not again, sadly I was only half through the game.
