vorpX doesn’t even start anymore since installing this update, it briefly appears in the icons tray and then just closes.
Yes that can be disabled in the menu that pops up, in the controller part I think, its pretty easy to find, you will know it when you see it.
I could never get it to work, I have had the standalone mod for about a month and it would never work for me, it starts okay and explains all of the gestures but as soon as I get ingame its all messed up, different images in each eye, I have tried changing every setting ingame but nothing works, I have tried it with my pico 4 and my pico neo3 link… GOG version added as a non steam game.
Sorry about my rant above I was just annoyed yesterday and having a nightmare trying to get some games working 😒 vorpX is a great tool to be fair, needs improvements yes, but it has been worth the price I paid for it, I don’t know what is going on with cyberpunk but I hope it can be fixed for those of us that are getting issues.
Yeah it doesn’t work and never has for me, I have different images in both eyes, the controller doesn’t seem to know which one it wants to use, I get a warning message saying I am on a higher version than 1.61, I give up.. I initially bought this vorpX to play my games in 3d on my projector and it did okay with that, but since getting my VR headset all I have had is issue after issue trying to play games in VR, if I only much as look at my VR controllers it screws up my inputs on pretty much anything I have tried, I have just spent a week trying out all my games and have come to the conclusion that this vorpX is only suitable for 3d on a big screen if you are lucky enough that it works, TitanFall 2 is the only game that was almost playable in almost VR without too many issues as long as I didn’t look at my vr controllers or bump the floor to hard that would screw up my gamepad, so I think from now on it’ll just be I will buy native VR games from now on and hope they make native VR support one day for these games, because I haven’t got the time anymore to mess around with this.
Hi, I just read conflicting answers on the amazon store page for your projector, in one answer from BenQ support it says it is 3d compatible and also a few users say it is too, but the last post that I read says that it didn’t, and when they looked it up, they were told that they would have to send it back to BenQ to have them enable the 3d feature. So, I don’t know, if you can’t find any 3d options in the settings you may be out of luck, I have an epson 4k 3d projector which works great with Vorpx but only does 3d at 1080p, won’t work at 4k that’s something to note, hope you get it working… obviously you will need the 3d shutter glasses too.
You might need to try some other profiles for the game you are trying, if you search in the cloud profiles for the game you want, you should find different profiles pop up that might work… you will need to remove the exe from the local profile for it to work though, I had to do that with a few games.
I use Vorpx just for the 3d on my 3d projector and it works really well on most games, some games I had to make my own profiles for though, by using other ready made ones that I know use the same engine,I got every game working eventually by doing this… the only time I had a similar issue to the one you described was when I accidentally chose a different resolution to 1080p and the screen went all funny a bit like you said… that’s all I can think of really, never had any issues since.. I hope you get it fixed because Vorpx has been a god send for me, playing almost all my games in stereoscopic 3d is awesome.
Hi, I bought vorpX the other day solely for stereoscopic 3d on my projector and I must say it works great on a lot of games so thanks for this it was worth it… I tried the method that you suggested for removing the watermark from bottom left but it is still there, I changed it to False and saved it but it still remains? also is there a way to disable the warning that appears in the top left every time I start a game it gets a bit annoying when testing all my games because I am quite far from my pc keyboard, also is there any way to increase the size of the settings text because it’s quite small even on my 100 inch screen and is very hard to read in 3d? I tried increasing iGuiTexWidth and height in config file but that didn’t do anything either. Thanks.
