ParticipantNo, i can’t succeed sadly…
No problem to hook, but no depth at all!
Can someone use his magics please?…Picdelag
Participantjust even tought of the story mode…
This could be amazing…
Picdelag
Participant+1 i agree.
This could sound strange, but i’d love to be able to play all the game i can in 3D.
Even fighting games, and this one look awesome! So… i will try some presets but i surely lack knowledge to be able to determine wich one will be best.
If someone can help, please!
Picdelag
ParticipantI still have a problem, he only does it with this game. after a minute of play the latency increases and the framerate decreases. it’s not a performance issue, because with other games and the demo it worked fine. I can’t understand what it can be
It will be a first step to check your VRAM usage. It can become overloaded with time.
Use MSI Afterburner to monitor this. (Works with any GPU, not only MSI ones)
Picdelag
ParticipantI don’t see this option, where it is ?
The “beta” one? sorry i use the french version…
Picdelag
ParticipantIt’s fixed Ralf!
One of this step fixed it :
-Resetting the default settings. (I don’t see why it could have gone wrong… but maybe?)
-Turning on ‘Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling”. Was disabled before.I’m keeping the motion reprojection forced with the toolkit and everything seems fine now! 45fps with not drop.
Enabling FluidSync did not kick the reprojection in if i’m not forcing it…
Is it a bug/an issue?Picdelag
ParticipantI see.
If no downside i’m ok with it!
But i use some mods, launching the game via FrostyModManager.
It just load the mods and the game together.
Hope it doesn’t have downside also this way if…
Picdelag
ParticipantOkay i see.
I will give some more feedback after my tests.
What do you think about SWBF2 and other Ansel games? Like i said, no problem on my side, surely because i disabled Geforce Experience overlay.
I really think disabling Ansel would be a better solution. No downside like this compared to your second solution. And it’s surely way easier to implement “without downside”…
Don’t know, never used this, and not sure if Ansel make sense at all with VorpX…
Picdelag
ParticipantThanks Ralf i will try your recomandations soon!
Yes i forced reprojection in the WMR dev tools but it’s intentional. But in this case the game is stable 45fps but the headset drop below 45

For those who have Battlefront 2 not hooking, it’s working 100% on my Reverb G2 with OpenXR : /
But my Nvidia Geforce Experience overlay is completely disabled, so Ansel might be too…
I prefer your first solution for this Ralf, just block Ansel.
Picdelag
ParticipantYep, take your week-end and time for yourself also Ralf.
But i’m still thinking there is an issue with Monster Hunter. If you can check and confirm on your side it will be cool…
BTW response : Yes, OpenXR is a GREAT improvement compared to steamvr for WMR headset, but to the point to say 20 FPS is playable i’m not so sure…
Not what i’ve noticed on my side at least. But i’ve only tried Monster Hunter and Battlefront 2 for the moment. Battlefront is really beneficing more efficiently from OpenXR. All my graphics options stay almost the same, but i’ve raised the resolution from 1183p to 1440p with same/better smoothness.
I use the “motion reprojection” “always on” in the OpenXR settings. (not sure about therms, i’m not english…)
Have also tried the 30fps reprojection, but it was not enjoyable.BTW2 response : Yes, forget to report it, but i have also tried the Alt. Fast Sync.
I think my GPU is not @100% utilisation for Monster Hunter.
I will benchmark it again tomorow, i’m not remembering well from my last play…Picdelag
ParticipantThanks again Ralf, but i found an issue i think.
In Monster Hunter World, i can maintain 45 fps stable, but in this case the headset framerate drop often below 45 and smoothness drop also.
It’s more happening in Fast synchronisation mode, but in safe mode my game framerate drop below 45.
Can you do something about this?
OpenXR with Reverb G2.
Picdelag
ParticipantThanks a lot for this update Ralf !
Love it. Things are really better for WMR (Reverb G2 here)
Picdelag
ParticipantOh! And both examples (Battlefront 2 and Monster Hunter) was in G3D.
Z3D was fine in steamVR but… with direct oculus compatibility, i was able to jump in G3D, thing that was impossible in steamVR…So… a HUGE improvment.
An other example was RE2 Remake… The difference was just stupidly HUGE!
Picdelag
ParticipantOh and you’ve not answered :
Did you think the bottleneck is as huge as oculus throught steamVR with G2?
I hope not, because i think G2 is more intended to be used with steamVR than oculus, but i can’t really tell until i’m able to purchase one…Picdelag
ParticipantThanks for the reply Ralf!
I think it’s declining because the G2 is maybe the only real WMR option…
But!… It will grow with this headset i think. And more further with futures one available.
Actually, it is just in a so unknown state, even HP themself seems to not be aware of the situation.
It is out of stock anywhere, and it seems like a lots of people are waiting for it.So… Okay, the stats are lowering because it is the only one WMR that make sense at the moment and it is also unavailable…
But numbers will grow up with time i think! With this one and futur ones.
