Vertex as well when it comes out,

    Ashes of Creation
    Mortal Online 2
    Vertex

All use UE4 engine, and Mordhau was made on the UE4 engine. Hopefully these games could work by slightly tweaking Mordhau’s profile?

    Cheers

Mortal 2 online and Ashes of Creation

Both use the UE4 engine and so does Mordhau and Mordhau has a vorpx profile, so theoretically tweaking Mordhaus profile would allow for compatibility with these two games.

Bump I’d like to know if you this feature might be implemented in the next update too (or something similar that achieves the same effect, i.e. allowing us to make custom profiles and assign the parameters of an official profile to the custom profile)

Dragonball Z Kakarot, as it has a first person mode AND many people have been wanting a Dragonball VR experience for a long time.

It would do a lot of good to improve Vorpx publicity and the amount of people who would buy vorpx, and I daresay we might even see a wealth of new people buying into VR solely because of a DBZ VR experience.

Thanks for the setup tips erised, that stuff is really handy to know. Can you strafe in any way by mapping buttons to controllers (+ is there a way to use controllers instead of the keyboard when you use cybershoes?) It’d be great to see some pics uploaded of your setup onto a google drive or onto IMGUR. The chair you have, is it flat based or one of the cheaper ones with a raised base?

If the concave platform works well an idea would be to suspend the concave platform by making a kind of pallet so that the base of the chair can rest underneath giving a flat ground directly underneath the feet. Is your harness a pole which is attached to the ceiling?

I also forgot to add that the Dark souls VR mod works for Dark souls 1, 2 and 3 if you have any of those versions of the game (or if its cheaper to buy them now probably $5-10 vs $20-40).

Does this work well on Dark Souls 3 using the VR mod, or on Mordhau erised? Thanks

Using the first person mod, I played Dark Souls 3 in VR with the Oculus Rift.

Thanks for the update and continued support Ralf, any chance we can expect a Vorpx 20.0 in the future with official support for popular peripheral locomotion accessories like Kat Loco, 3dRudder, or Cybershoes, support for Index controllers and support for Leap Motion hand tracking or eye tracking modules if they become included in popular future VR 2.0 bundles?

I could see Vorpx becoming very big and way more popular in the future as vr matures with these additions!

Thanks for the reply Ralf, and thanks for implementing the support for both Knuckles and Pimax. I think the controllers are revolutionary we can finally map more buttons than a console controller

Bump forceecognition and add support for Star Wars The Old Republic, Jedi Knight Jedi Academy and Outcast, Star wars Battlefront 2 2005 and 2017 versions), and a couple of uestions:

Has anyone tried the Mordhau Vorpx profile on Chivalry Medieval Warfare and does it work?

And has anyone managed, or is it possible at the moment to fix the ESO vorpx to once again run the Old Republic, seeing as they’re both Mmos made on Hero engine?

    Cheers

Hey Ralf does the above video assist in any way to further the implementation of eother Cybershoes or Leap Motion?

Leap motion sensors have already been purposed for several headsets, they will be sold with Pimax headsets too. They do need more implementation in software but I’d argue it’s an excellent opportunity for you to market your own product by demonstrating cross compatibility, which benefits you and the peripheral companies in the long run
(Like potential for paid partnerships maybe for your continued endorsement and support?)

With such things there always is a bit of a chicken and egg problem. It’s a difficult decision to spend time on support for devices without a large enough userbase while there is other work to do that benefits more vorpX users.

I certainly see some potential for using Cybershoes with vorpX though. If they happen to ship their own software that can map shoe movement to WASD for example (not unlikely), you would even be able to use Cybershoes with vorpX right away.

With Leap Motion things are a bit more complicated. Supporting that in a meaningful way would require quite a bit of R&D work as we would have to figure out what makes sense in the context of vorpX (actually first if anything makes sense at all). The only answer I can give you at this point is that Leap Motion is a very interesting VR accessory for sure and certainly will be looked into if/when there starts to be broader demand.

Leap motion gesture capture keybind conversion should be a standalone application or script, as the above game is not launched in steamVR. This leads me to believe leap motiom integration should be easy based on your above comment

With regards to the chicken and egg problem, Pimax has a Leap motion hand controller they are working on releasing with a wider range of hand tracking. Foot movement and hand tracking with gesture based input is the way forward for VR, and I think if it’s integrated into Vorpx that’s it will bring a greater awareness to full immersive VR.

Cybershoes has a standalone program called the Cybermanager (but it doesn’t convert WASD, it seems thats done automatically in SteamVR games); but they’re interested in Vorpx support according to their kickstarter so I would get in touch with them at, they will probably send you free shoes.

Bump for recognition, please consider working on this along with support for ESO.

I thought I might add Ralf seeing as you’ve started support for Dark Souls and Mordhau why not Chivalry and Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast/Academy as well?
