I can confirm that rf2 with the newest Version is just working great !
Use the r2torift plugin which you can find in the ISI-Forum and start rf2 as usual.
Works just great !

Loving it now. And thanks to Ralph for this great piece of Software.

still a Little bit of a to big steering in F1 but working great.

Please Change the subject title.”I give up” to “solved”

And you know what “rfactor 2” is working just great. With the “R2toRift” plugin it just works great. The “edgepeek” function is perfect to view the whole Screen and use the menue.
in rfactor 2 you can really look around and not just as a big Screen.
The steering wheel is still a little big to big but I can live with that.

Best experience I ever had with rFactor 2 so far.

and important note for the other user ! To ensure that the game is starting in the rift if must work in full Screen and not in window mode.
That was my error why it didnt appear on the rift

Hello Ralph, thanks for the hint.
Tried it again and F1 2014 is working.
Very nice ! I am using Opentrack for head tracking ! That is working as well.

But the FOV is to close. Is there any possibility to make this a Little more far away ?
Looks like I am getting warm with Vorpx ;-)

Any Chance to explain how you have set it up step by step ?
I am not able to get it to work.
Currently using Virtual Desktop which gives me a better solution, however you seem to have solved it. WOuld be great if you could share with us !

Removing the lens Cup each time I am using the menue is not an Option for me. I had dust one time on the Screen and this was very annoying.

What I dont like as well is that I need to Setup my rift each time a Primary to get it working. Hope you have solved this as well

Thanks for the quick Response.

Getting closer. I used the calibration function in the Vorpx menue and was able to allign the Pictures.
Now I can see one Picture.

However, following issues now.
– I can not really see the menue at the bottom of the program.
I can assume which one to choose and able to get to a race
– however in the car, I see no movement. Feels like a big Screen moving but not like I am in the car and view around

Hello, Ralf, but this is not a good customer Service.
You have promised 100% that a new Version will available, then you are saying “programming” is done, and now you are saying a few more days.

If you have a Problems which you have not expected, then say so and dont leave us in the dark.
Sure we can wait, that is not the Problem as DK2 is still a development kit, but dont promise anything where you are not 100% sure that you can Keep.

You are loosing credibility and potential new customers.

I am still having Problem to get VorpX working butI was able now to get the Opentrack working and following the guide explained , it is working now.
I can play now different games using the rift for head tracking and using the virtual Desktop to see the game on the rift.
Hope there will be another VorpX Version soon to test again

I am running Win 7

Currently my aim would be to have a good Cockpit view first and then I have a look into the tracking.

Currently if I am in the cockpit the Picture of the left and right are not creating on Picture.
What can that be ?
If I see correctly then it I could look at the next challenge regarding head tracking

I tried different things further but I am still not able to get it to work.

I have tried this morning with AC as well and similar issues. I am not able to get VorpX running.

These is a summary of the issues and will update once solved.
1. Vorpx config window not working. Seeing only a transparent window Frame
2. Cockpit view for F1 201x and even AC disjointed, meaning I can see the Cockpit in each view but if both eyes are opening, the Pictures are not matching
3. headtracking not working
4. Position tracking not working

I just cant get the VorPx config to work !
I wanted to try with F1 2013 but cant get it to work. The “DEL” key isnt working either :-(

Hello Ralph, I am sure it is .
I have deinstalled 4.5.1 and tried to install 3.5 but it didnt allow me to do so.

In addition I realised that I can not run Quicken 2015 without a .Net Version less then 4.5.x
So I reinstalled .Net but now with 4.5.2 but have the same issue. I just see a transparent window.
Quicken is running again.

Is there any workout where I can set the config without going through the config window as I assume VorpX is running in the Background already.

I do run Win 7 with latest patches installed.
Everything else is working fine !
