It’s a shame that part 3 doesn’t want to hack in … maybe someone can fix it! Part 1 + 2 have really fantastic G3D and run with Vorpx AMD sharpness filter on full … super sharp and fluid!

By part 4 I meant of course

    Doesn’t work with Vorpx either … no G3D and no Z3D …
    Then I tried Reshade Depth3D … with that I had a good Z3D with some depth …
Maybe someone will find a working Vorpx profile …?!

Part 1 and 2 of the new version work great in G3D 1080p and the AMD sharpness filter … with my Pimax 8KX … looks fantastic …
Part 3 is on strike and does not want to hack in … strange … Maybe someone has advice … ??

Part 4 also works well in G3D, but not quite as smoothly …

    Elite Dangerous Odyssey
just like the last two Tombraider Shadow games, it has support for native real geometric 3D …
!!! … even with a 3D depth control for individually adjustable stereo 3D depth …

Simply set Side by Side in the options … then set the depth of the room according to personal preferences … and you can start using a 3D projector or VR glasses …

I think VorpX supports this native 3D in Side by Side … just needs to be set somewhere …
I’m going to test this out today …

Otherwise, Virtual Desktop is also possible if you press F6 or F7 for 3D … and F10 for a possible reversal of the eye dominance … i.e. when the left eye sees that of the right … so wrong 3D …

In any case, VorpX works with Tombraider Shadow … then Elite Dangerous Odyssey will also work …

Sooo wrote to the modder in Discord and had an informative discussion … they gave the tip that the 3D depth can also be set via SteamVR … I didn’t know that before …
Was totally surprised that it worked wonderfully …
Finally all objects outside with a fantastic 3D spatial depth … !! … a feast for my 2 (3D) eyes … when everything flies away from you in the explosions … or the trees topple over into the room in three dimensions. … then the plumes of smoke the dust when I look down on my feet from a height of 30m … great 3D depth and much more immersion … than just having the cockpit in 3D … and only 5m outside Depth graduation … instead of 100m now … In any case, with this setting in SteamVR, I am fully enthusiastic about the VR Mod … !!
If you want to try it out … here is a screenshot of Steam VR settings …
I then set it to extreme and turned the slider to the left to 10% …
The whole thing has one disadvantage …
The cockpit has now shrunk a lot due to the much larger stereo base or eye relief / IPD … but you have the outside view of the mech and can still aim very well with the mouse and the target crosshair …

Don’t give up … I also hacked around with Helixvision for a few days … until I found out that I mistakenly copied the mod with vk3dvision without the main folder into the game directory of Doom Ethernal …

There are also enough Youtube instructions from the modder “Helifax” … eg a profile has to be created for Doom Ethernal in Helixvision … and Helixvision has to be entered in the vk3dvision ini file … but everything is in the readme instructions …

It also took until Helixvision was running with my VR glasses … only the one beta with the “c” is allowed …
    Much luck…

The last two Wolfensteins can now also be played in G3D with vk3dvision …
    Look fantastic too … !!

Doom Eternal runs with “Helixvision” and “vkvision” in real G3D and looks fantastic!
Unfortunately, VorpX does not support Vulkan games.

Tried the VR Mod … runs great with the HP Reverb G2 and Pimax 8KX …
The only downer is the fact that the cockpit looks great in 3D … but the view to the outside then everything appears in flat 2D …

The Mechs are huge, but the 6.5 cm eye relief only allows the cockpit to appear in real 3D … although even with only 6.5 cm eye relief, a flat 2D to 3D depth perception or depth graduation is still up to 50 m is at least perceptible …

As beautiful as the mod is … but as a “3D fanboy” I prefer the fantastic individually adjustable 3D depth as is possible with VorpX or even deeper with Tridef or even more precisely with regard to shadow correction with Helixmod or Helixvision … !!!

Unfortunately, the VR Mod doesn’t have an exterior view either …
I will write to the modder whether he can integrate a variable 3D depth and an exterior view … even if this gives the cockpit too great a 3D depth or separation … but as a possibility to individually set it … would be quite great … then the VR Mod would be perfect !!

    Greetings to all
    3D and VR fans !!

I tested the game some time ago to see if it runs in 3D …
Now I don’t know exactly which profile I used …
But I still remember one thing … it looked fantastic in G3D … real feeling like in the 3D Bluray film Mad Max Fury Road … !!

Doom Eternal and Doom 2016 also work well with Reshade Depht3D with very good 3D depth in Side by Side with Virtual Desktop … !!

    It’s a shame that VorpX doesn’t work …

I don’t know the program Vk3DVision app, yet … if the real G3D can do it then I have to test it today … !!
    Thanks for the tip !!
