All is well, there is an open purchase with a similar mail address (instaaezak…). I considered it to be yours and sent you the key manually.

There is no purchase with your e-mail address in the database of or e-commerce service MyCommerce, hence your key request could not be processed.

Theoretically that might be possible, but it would require a specialized version of vorpX, mainly because those programs have multiple 3D windows active while they run, which vorpX doesn’t handle at all currently.

Having worked in the field for 15 years before starting vorpX I’be surprised though if there wasn’t a plugin available already for at least one of them. I’m a bit out of the loop in that regard now, so I don’t know for sure, but I’d say chances are quite high.

Your key has been sent automated a few minutes after you requsted it. I will resend it in case the mail didn’t go through. If it still does not reach you, please let me know.

Hi Per. Your key has been sent two times (12/09, 12/11) to your comhem.se address. Please check your spam folder.

I will send it again using a different mail server. If it still does not reach you, please provide an alternative e-mail address, ideally from a large mail provider like G-Mail, Yahoo etc, in case your mail server silently rejects everything we send for some reason.

    Quoting my answer above:

Try renaming your Documents\Battlefield 1\settings folder. It contains all settings for the game.

It doesn’t matter what monitor you run the game on. A 4K monitor makes it easier since it can display higher resolutions per default. Otherwise you can do what I wrote in my answer above.

You can run games at any resolution with vorpX. The higher the resolution, the better the image quality. Good resolutions for vorpX quality wise are 1600×1200 or 1920×1440. Just keep an eye on performance (ALT+F). You should make sure that the game runs at 45fps.

If your monitor can’t display the resolutions mentioned above, you might be able to add them as custom resolutions in your graphics driver control panel. Alternatively you could run the game windowed and set the resolution manually in the game’s ini file.

ENB mods hook into the rendering pipeline in a similar way that vorpX does, it’s quite likely that they cause issues. They may work with with the ENB injector (can be downloaded from the ENB website), but there is no guarantee for that. If in doubt, you shouldn’t use an ENB mod to avoid any potential conflict with vorpX.

@ luris: time permitting there will be an option that makes the RMB a toggle button, which would let you toggle between third/first person.

TBH I somehow doubt this is serious, but just in case it’s really an issue for you, you can easily address it the way described above or alternativly by temporarily disabling Direct VR with the hotkey for that before you sit down in a chair in the game. You can adjust the hotkey to your liking in the config app.

If that is the case, all I can imagine is that you either activated EdgePeek mode (middle mouse button), which is meant for watching cutscenes and using menus, or ypu changed the ImageZoom value in the vorpX menu.

First person games, definitely all in the list above, per default launch in Full VR mode and Direct VR takes care of FOV and head tracking sensitivity for all games listed above.

If you already tried to adjust many settings, it might make sense to do a factory reset in the config app.

Probably related to positional Direct VR. If you virtually sit down in a chair often in the game, disabling the positional component of Direct VR in the vorpX menu is worth a shot. Normal pos tracking will kick in instead.

Just not virtually sitting down in an ingame chair and instead having Direct VR’s basic room scale pos tracking might be the better idea though.

Third person games like Diablo 3 or WoW usually start in cinema mode. You can switch to full VR mode in the vorpX menu (DEL key), but that doesn’t necessarily make much sense for every game. Diablo 3 for example has an isometric camera perspective looking down on the playfield, so it’s best best played in cinema mode. vorpX cannot change the actual game mechanics of a game.

However, for first person games, especially those with Direct VR (like Portal 2), the experience comes quite close to native VR games. Portal 2 does not run on a virtual cinema screen with vorpX, it takes you into the game exactly like a native VR game, even including basic roomscale capabilities in that particular case.

Good games to get started (all with Direct VR support) are listed below. Later, when you know a bit better what vorpX can and cannot do and how it works, you will also be able to bring other first person games close to that.

    Borderlands 2
    Borderlands Pre-Sequel
Skyrim (original DX9 version is usually the better choice)
    Bioshock (DX9)
    Bioshock 2 (DX9)
    Bioshock Infinite
    Dishonored
    Fallout 3
    Fallout New Vegas
    Fallout 4
    Portal
    Portal 2
    Left 4 Dead 2
    Mirror’s Edge
    Deus Ex Human Revolutions
    Black Mesa Source
    Half-Life 2
    Half-Life 2 Episode 1
    Half-Life 2 Episode 2
    Aliens Colonial Marines
    Dear Esther (Source engine version)
    The Stanley Parable

Never experienced this before with the game, but in general ALT-TAB out of the game and back in can often help with mouse capturing issues (vorpX or otherwise).
