Multi-monitor configurations are not supported by the desktop viewer currently, sorry.

Re BF3/BF4: First please make sure that the games show on the primary monitor. If that doesn’t help, try to disconnect the other two and see whether that helps.

Frostbite engine games (like BF3/BF4) may also loose input focus durinh startup sometimes and thus may appear hanging. If that happens, ALT+TAB or clicking the game’s icon in the taskbar brings back input focus to the game.

Fallout 4 is one of the most played games with vorpX. Please first try a fresh install like suggested above and check your PC for possible injection conflicts with other programs.

Hottest candidates are: virus scanners, any sort of CPU/GPU utilities, game video recording/streaming software, chat programs and generally everything that can show notifictations in games.

Best way to trouble shoot this is to disable/uninstall every program running in the background that would not be there after a fresh, Microsoft only Windows install.

If you cannot solve the issue this way, you can send the trouble shoot data to support |at| vorpx com.

Please add “arma3_x64.exe” to the executables that are assigned to the Arma III profile. You can do that in the vorpX config app. (Local Profiles page). Alternatievely you can use the 32bit version of the game (arma3.exe).

Your key has been sent multiple times. Unfortunately your e-mail address is unreachable for us though. Please either make sure that your e-mail server doesn’t reject e-mails from vorpx.com or provide an alternative mail address (ideally from a large mail provider like G-Mail for example).

All mails sent to you are rejected with the below error:

It shouldn’t, but I wouldn’t rule it out completely. Could you please try whether changing it back to the middle mouse button makes a difference and report back here? Thanks in advance.

Please make sure that your GTA V is updated to the latest version, it also might make sense to disable/uninstall any other virus scanner than Windows Defender. Some invasive av scanners may prevent Direct VR from working.

And just in case: make sure to not use an “unofficial” version of the game.

You can also always play any game without Direct VR. vorpX provides quite a few ways to deal with FOV issues. To get started, please check the “Essential Hints Guide” and the “1-2-3 Game Setup” in the vorpX help.

Does this also happen if you start games with vorpX or is it exclusive to the desktop viewer?

That sounds very, very odd. vorpX requires Steam VR with the Vive (and other SteamVR headsets) and it sure doesn’t crash it normally. As you probably can imagine it’s used that way on a daile basis not only here, but also by every other vorpX user with a SteamVR headset.

Not much I can recommend apart from uninstalling and then reinstalling vorpX as well as SteamVR, but apparently y tried that already.

Your key requests didn’t reach us apparently, sorry.

Please post the request code here or try the contact form in the support menu above. It says not to use it for key requests, but you can ignore that in your case.

Rather odd. Apparently vorpX injects just fine (as indicated by the logo).

If you have any mods intalled, please first try a fresh install without any mods. Also make sure that your FO4 is updated to the latest version in Steam (although that is likely the case).

And just in case: please check whether you have the right headset type selected in the vorpX config app.

You can create a trouble shoot data archive in the config app.

You can check the FPS with ALT+F. A list of shortcuts is available in the config app.

Provided your Skyrim SE is updated to the latest version, DirectVR FOV is applied without scanning, which is the most important thing. Not ideal, but not a major issue if the rotation scan fails. if head tracking feels off, adjust the head tracking sensitivity in the vorpX menu.

In general I would recommend to use the original Skyrim unless you absolutely can’t live without the new, more saturated color scheme. The original Skyrim on most systems runs better with vorpX.

There might be an injection conflict with some other program on your PC. Many programs also hook into games and can cause such an issue. Not all of them are obvious.

If you can’t solve the issue this way, please try to start a few games, then create a trouble shoot data archive in the vorpX config app and send this archive to support |at| vorpx com. I will then check whether I can find something that you may have overlooked.

in reply to: Every game is inverted #127248

There’s always a chance failure in regard to DirectVR, hence the hint screen that is shown about that during the scan.

Provided your Skyrim SE is updated to the latest version, DirectVR FOV is applied without scanning, which is the most important thing. Not ideal, but not a major issue if the rotation scan fails. if head tracking feels off, adjust the head tracking sensitivity in the vorpX menu.

BTW: I would recommend to use the original Skyrim. On the majority of systems it runs quite a bit better with vorpX.

Not sure about your Arma III issue, sorry. Works as it always it did. Please mind that Arma III is Z-Buffer 3D only, which provides a less natural and strong 3D effect, but is a lot faster.

If the normal mouse based head tracking is inverted, please check whether you maybe have your mouse axis inverted in the game’s options. If that is the case either change that or use the “HT Invert Y-Axis” option on the head tracking page of the vorpX ingame menu.

Also make sure that you didn’t indvertantly disable the vorpX head tracking in the config app. Doing so might lead to the impression that head tracking is inverted.

And lastly: some special gamer mouse drivers allow to invert the mouse y-axis. If you use something like that, please check whether you maybe have selected that option in your mouse driver.

I’ll take a look at it shortly. Z3D will likely be possible quite easily, G3D however will require additional coding work. vorpX at this point can’t handle G3D for newer Frostbite engine games (yet).

If you want to try yourself right now: the Dragon Age: Inquisition profile is the one with the highest chance of success. Try that as a base for a custom profile in the config app.
