    @AmiVR

    Thanks for letting me know I have a super computer setup so on most games performance isn’t a problem but perhaps Capcom will release a patch so now I will include in my notes to change UseVendorExtention=Enable to Disable I going to see if I can DMC5 working with VorpX.

    If the profile was flickering or rendering in one eye I wouldn’t never uploaded to the cloud but there might be another setting your have to change in the re3_config file. The profile is prefect on all the third headsets I tested and looks as good RE2
    The profile is prefect on all three headsets I tested it on True 3D geometry full screen exactly like RE2 remake.
    Below are my setting re3_config file which I think are important
    Below is my re3_config.ini file try this and see if this solves the problem.
    PCTargetAPIFallback=Enable
    Capability=DirectX12
    TargetPlatform=DirectX11
    UseOptimizeShader=Disable
    MainMenu=False
    LastCrashReport=
    UseVendorExtention=Disable
    [RenderConfig]
    PCDXver=DirectX11
    PCColorSpace=0
    PCWindowMode=1
    PCResolution=27
    PCRefreshRate=1
    PCFrame_Rate=1
    PCVSync=1
    PCRenderingMethod=0
    PCImage_Quality=6
    PCTextureQuality=9
    PCSamplerQuality=5
    PCMeshQuality=3
    PCAntiAliasing=1
    PCMotionBlurEnable=1
    PCShadowQuality=4
    PCShadowCacheEnable=0
    PCAOSetting=4
    PCBloomEnable=0
    PCLensFlareEnable=0
    PCVolumeLight=2
    PCReflection=0
    PCSSSS=0
    PCDOF=0
    PCLensDistortion=1
    PCFilmGrainNoise=0
    PCParticleLight=0
    PCSharpnessSetting=1
    [Display]
    HDRmode=1
    [Control_10264843]
    MouseReverse=1
    MouseBind=0
    CameraNormalSpeed=16
    CameraHoldSpeed=8

    check your setting I think if UseVendorExtention=enable this would cause that error.

    How does it work on my index, rift-s and hp reverb not yours also did you try the other user’s RE3 profile on the cloud ?

    It works fine on the three headsets I tested download the other RE3 user’s profile from the cloud and see if you have the same problem.

    Rendering Mode must be set to normal in the game options

    What headset are you using ?

    I wish could help more but I’m out of suggestions.

    It works fine on my oculus, index and Hp Reverb it renders in 3D just like Resident Evil 2 true 3D. I just played 20 minutes or so and I’m at the part where you open the first safe for the scope.

    I’m using NVidia 445.78 drivers.
    My settings in are
    RenderMode Normal
    Refresh Rate 59.94
    Frame Rate 60
    Resolution which works the best is 1920 x 1080

    I just tested RE3 with VorpX and it works fine follow the steps below,

    Here what I did
    In the directory where the game is installed edit the file re3_config.ini

    Under [RenderConfig]
    PCDXver=DirectX12 to
    PCDXver=DirectX11

    Launch VorpX
    Goto ResidentEvil 2 profile and create a profile based on this one rename the profile and assign the Re3.exe to the newly created profile launch the game and it the same as Ralf made profile.

    @offall

    Did you edit the ini file for DX11 it defaults to DX12 this why VorpX isn’t working

    Below is a tip

    I use a program called NvCRBT which saves all custom resolution’s so when I install a new driver I just restore my custom resolutions with NvCRBT saves a lot of time

    The program must be run as admin.

    Thanks Ralf,
    True Image and Backupper work fine I don’t loss any activation’s with either but I have other problems with them. It just happen again with EaseUS so I think in the future I will use a True Image rescue usb stick to backup and restore my system disk.

    Thanks again,

    There is native support for VR for the redux version offered as DLC for $9.99.

    Hours of playable with games that don’t support VR excellent profiles for unsupported games and excellent support. One of the best gaming investments I had made and it keeps getting better every update.

    I own the game and I think I used the hellblade profile and it worked Cinema Mode with G3D. The only problem I recall is the game is very dark.
