According to dev for Helixvision this is a test run to see how much interested would be generated by a cheap program his main goal would be a program to create a 3D Vision type program similar to Tridef 3D the software wouldn’t require Nvidia 3D Vision drivers and would support Vulkan and DX12.
The dev is one of 3Dmitgo team tools for 3DVision, shaderhackers

Also Helixvision requires 3D Vision support which isn’t supported any more by NVidia The user’s have to hack the drivers or use older drivers 425.XX and block Windows drivers updates via Group Policy when using Windows 19XX.

Ok I understand
Most 3D Vision monitors only support Frame packing but LG or Samsung 3DTV would have no problem displaying Vorp X SBS image in 3D.

Try a EDID override also the 3D Vision software works fine with a hack on all versions of Windows up to 1809. Using 3D Vision with Windows version 19XX requires you use the Nvidia driver version 425.XX and block Windows driver updates via group policy.
To use a newer NVidia drivers with 3D Vision on Windows 19XX can be done but it time consuming hack.zig11727ParticipantGreat !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worked Like a Charm.
Thanks,

zig11727ParticipantOrigin games were giving me a problem in general with or without Vorpx. The Origin client isn’t working properly. The problem is games don’t launch or update.
zig11727ParticipantGreat Update !
zig11727ParticipantThanks, downloading now
zig11727ParticipantThanks again,
zig11727ParticipantFirst thing is Version 2 comes with a clip for the cable and I included a link which shows you how you can read the serial number to tell which version you have. All Amazon’s stock is version 2.
I’m just guessing but anyone selling the unit probably has version 1.
HP Reverb serial number with 923 new batch?
byu/SybrenBoersma inWindowsMRzig11727ParticipantSeeing HP Reverbs on ebay pretty dam cheap it might be worth the test. I was thinking of getting the 2.0 base stations for the pro but those would be even more than the Reverb almost. or maybe 2020-2021 brings in 4k VR? Also the 3080 series cards might take us over the top ?
Make sure your if you purchase from Ebay the Reverb is revision 2 the first one have problems also the reverb is true 4K VR (4320×2160) and if you purchase used I don’t think the warranty transfers to the new owner.
zig11727ParticipantI own the Samsung Odyssey Plus and HP Reverb the Samsung Odyssey Plus is the same resolution as the Vive Pro and the HP Reverb is much clearer then the Samsung Odyssey Plus.
As stated there are drawbacks with the HP Reverb tracking, lighting and controllers.
For seated games the HP Reverb can’t be beat.
zig11727ParticipantIn the US if you order on Amazon it’s the version 2 headset with the clip when I ordered the unit on Amazon the regular version was the only unit available.
zig11727ParticipantI own a HP Reverb it’s great for seated sim type games and it’s very clear but there are a few things you need to know this headset requires a state art PC to run since this is Windows Mixed Reality Windows must be up to date.
Another the controllers aren’t that good the biggest problem for me is the battery lid keeps off playing games like Beat Saber.
Below are my specs and I can’t play Dirt Rally 2 with SS turn on
