Well, I can only say that CET runs for me (including about 30 mods). Maybe reinstall again? My game even runs successfully with Reshade, despite the warning message. I have _not_ checked the “alternative hooking mode” in vorpX configuration. And I’m using the default Cyberpunk 2077 profile.

But I’m thinking of switching to Reshade’s SuperDepth3D VR, because it displays the mods’ windows in the headset.

I have Cyberpunk 2077 running here with CyberEngineTweaks and various mods without problems.

But vorpX doesn’t show the mod windows in the headset, only on the desktop. For mods with hotkeys this is okay, but if I want to display data or interact (for example with Immersive Roleplay or Sell Stolen Car Mod), then I have to put the headset down. Is there perhaps a solution for this?

    Hi!
i bought VorpX two months ago because a VR-Youtuber said that Cyberpunk 2077 is great to play in VR via VorpX. I gave it a try, but after 5 minutes playing and 20 of massing around with the settings it was totally clear that i never ever will play a game like this in 2021 anymore.

So i asked the Support instantly for a refund via e-mail (support@vorpx.com), but i got no answer. I tried it over the homepage, no answer … i tried it 5 times in the next days and weeks but nothing?

Please contact me! I still want to refund the software because i never used it after this 30 min of testing.

    regards,

Vorpx changes a game’s configuration, correct?

From what i know and experienced, it changes only FOV to fit the right size on certain occiasons (CYBERPUNK 2077 for example) and of course you can turn this vorpX-feature off in the vorpX configuration, so then vorpX stops making any changes at all.

My ingame VorpX image zoom level is limited to max 80 (trying to run Cyberpunk 2077 with profile of “pressstart”).
But in that zoom-level, i still see some borders in my Valve Index.
What can I do? I guess i should have the zoom level on 100% (1.00) but it just won’t get higher :/

I have similar issues whenever I make resolution changes to the game, change from full screen to windowed, make vorpx changes like changing room anti aliasing thru vorpx menu or anything that triggers the waiting steam overlay, I get huge fps drop until I restart the game. Also the z3d does not work after making any of these above changes until I restart the game. Once all these settings are dialed in though, the fps and z3d work perfectly. Actually this game is truly great in z3d! Thanks Ralf! I play in cinema mode, have i7-9700k, rtx2070, valve index hmd and controllers, xbox controller. Forgot to mention cyberpunk 2077 had this similar fps drop issue at launch but was fixed.

Anybody made Cyberpunk moded with CET works on VorpX ?
There is some nice mods that need CET, but it seems that VorpX can’t hook the game anymore.
I had to delete all the files from CET and repair the game in order to play it again on VorpX.

First start the game without vorpx and set DX11 for the old profile and DX12 for the CP2077 profile.

Disable also Nvidia Geforce Experience in-game overlay, too.

Borderless window or windowed is the best setting for this game, try to edit the
    file user.cfg and profile.cfg.

@thenevik – are you using the CPunk 2077 profile when it does hook successfully?

You must use cyberpunk 2077 profilo to run it

    1st person:
    – Cyberpunk 2077 (the parade!)
    – Metro Last Light (feels like proper vr game)

3rd person Immersive Screen Mode with high custom resolutions:
    – Shadow of the Tomb Raider (best graphics, great sound)
    – Witcher 3 (nice atmosphere)
    – Tomb Raider 2013 (best Lara)

Haven’t checked the demo myself, but it’s my understanding that DX11 has been ditched for the game, so using a DX12 Z3D profile like Cyberpunk 2077 is the right choice for the game, other potenttial candidates would be e.g. the Horizon: Zero Dawn or the the Read Dead Redemption 2 profiles.

I’ll definitely look into the title and if possible will add as much DirectVR stuff as possible. Most importantly automatic FOV and resolution, so that you won’t have to tinker with any settings.

Hello everybody. I managed to start Resident evil 8 village demo with cyberpunk 2077 profile. Unfortunately it doesn’t have g3d but only z adaptive. if someone could get it started with g3d or another profile that works better, write it to me and upload the profile to the cloud

Mirror’s Edge is really impressive. Also played Bioshock (non-remaster) and it’s great. Working on getting Cyberpunk 2077 to look it’s best.

I’m using an MClassic, which offers a 4:3 aspect ratio option so I’m going to try and get CPunk looking as crispy as possible. I added all of Ralf’s custom resolutions to my 2080 Ti and will be playing around with it more later.

I have Alien Isolation using the MotherVR mod running incredibly and now that I added the MClassic it’s a whole new level.

Love VorpX, but really curious how “best resolution” is selected?? For example, I only played with it briefly but I couldn’t get the original Unreal to zoom out further like in Mirror’s Edge. TBH, have only spent about 2-3 hours with it thus far..

DX12 is currently Z3D only. I’ll check whether that’ll be possible, but for G3D DX11 will be required.

DLSS: I did some pretty extensive DLSS on/off comparisons when I made the Cyberpunk 2077 profile. Obviously faster since it renders at a lower resolution, but it almost always also looks noticably worse, even at the highest quality setting. Clearly the best upscaling technique ever created, but it still doesn’t come close to rendering at native resolution. Good enough on a 4K monitor/TV seen from a distance, but in a VR headset? Not really in my opinion.
