Thanks Steph12! I am going to try it! What headset do you have ?
I have a pimax , an index and a quest.
I am using my diy locomotion method to walk in games by mapping WASD to my feet movements.
I have found the index for sure much more comfortable than the quest in terms of motion sickness due to the refresh rate and due to the headset being wired to the pc. Unfortunately I hate the cables coming out of the headset, also because I play in vorpx games with a room scale feeling by alking in my play area and in place for locomotion.
As for the pimax, I love hte wide fov, but I have not tested the lowed frame rate compared to the index in my case with locomotion gameplay in vorpx. I need to test and compare both
I saw that there is a profile in vorpx cloud that I have used for playing Blair Witch in my valve index.
Is there anyone that have tried playing blair witch in vr using vorpx?
Anyone that can give their feedback please ?
Thanks
@dellrifter
Thanks for the submission !
Any image that you upload can be viewed while holding the mouse above the camera icon next to a game. Furtheron clicking on the game guides to the next page where you for example (right click copy link) can use the link to the image for futher use. (example here).
Did anyone manage to get it working with vorpX?
It has native support just for Oculus and the Revive work around is not really an option.
Thanks for the update and continued support Ralf, any chance we can expect a Vorpx 20.0 in the future with official support for popular peripheral locomotion accessories like Kat Loco, 3dRudder, or Cybershoes, support for Index controllers and support for Leap Motion hand tracking or eye tracking modules if they become included in popular future VR 2.0 bundles?
I could see Vorpx becoming very big and way more popular in the future as vr matures with these additions!
Not every game can be played in Full VR with headtracking. If youre playing a supported game, its profile will be always designed for a most comfortable way to play a game. Playing an unsupported game may result in what you are describing.
If you cant play an unsupported game in Full VR , switch over to Cinema Mode (hit “del” to enter the menu and choose a Cinema Mode on the main settings page ). Adjusting the size of the screen to the max will give you a good alternative for non FUll VR games.
Having a look into the vorpx cloud may help you finding a user created profile for a not supported game.
Note: Not every supported game can be played in Full VR Mode either, thats why some games a set to Cinema Mode on Default.
Headtracking support is a basic feature of vorpx, it sounds a bit like your playing a game in Full VR mode that profile isnt designed for this mode or your headset doesnt work right.
To see if one of the above is the case, switch over to Cinema Mode and move your head. If you cant move freely in front of the screen look at the headtracking page and make sure headtracking is enabled and sensitivity is somewhere above 10 or 20. If you cant move your head something should be wrong with your headset.
Note : Your headset must support headtracking otherwise the above will not help.
Enter the vorpx menu with “del”.
I think this might just be a problem with windows MR in general. I also have an index and it works fine..
The issue is when I start vorpx, it hooks to rocket league but the graphics are all distorted and messed up. This sometimes would happen with the index if I minimized the game and remaximized it
The issue is with the windows mr stuff it must be not maximizing the game when it first hooks, thus creating some big graphical issues when first starting it up.
Not sure how to fix this. I tried closing steamVR and starting the game first, then I tried starting steamVR first
Hello Com,
I have a Quest. For now i play FS 19 with headtracking. But i bought a valve Index. With thus tool can i play FS the Same way as with Gradtracking ? Look Forward,Backward, legt ans right, Go with my head in a 3d cabine Like Look Forward under the roof. Look at my Back Hydraulics can Look Out of the Site window ? Thus movement is working with headtracking.
And maybe there is a Chance for a Trial Version ?

Hello,
I would like to play mordhau but I can see Caps+Mousewheelup is a greyed bind that I can’t edit.
How can I bind it to Num+ / Pad+ ?
Thank you for your help.
PS: I also have low fps in games with my index but I will start another thread for that
Then I don´t why it runs this bad on the index and not on my rift.
So I deleted the vorpx cfg file and reset the metro profile, to make sure everthing got a fresh start.
The menu for weapons and gear seems to work now, but in g3d mode the screen still moves really bad and it does not feel good. Z3d and Z3d-ap works good, but its not as immersive as g3d.
I have set my index to run 120hz, is that bad?? And don´t know if g3d profile for Metro redux is a bit broken on the index.
@Ralf
3D FOV and Enchantment has not changed anything, do you mean a different FOV setting? I want the black bakeen up and down.

Try to reset the profile to default in the config app. The HUD and everything else is handled the same way with an Index as it is with a Rift.
