Hello pintman,
I have so much nostalgia for this game having played it on the xbox 360 back in the day.
Let me know if you end up getting a VR headset like the rift and are able to play it in VR it is definitely some next level stuff. I would recommend having a very good GPU if you want it to run acceptable. I use a GTX 1080ti and it is just barely acceptable fps wise the way I like to play graphics fairly sharp.I have an iron stomach when it comes to this sort of thing and do not suffer from motion or vr sickness.
I like how you described it as the GTA worldscape R* has created.
I’m trying to remember the necessary steps I took to get the thing to work in VR and modded. I’ll try to provide that here later.
In the mean time their are some youtube video’s on the subject that I used.
Unfortunately I’m having difficulty in completing some missions in VR do to the missing text issue but for free roaming and the now and then mission completion its amaze balls just even walking around in first person taking on the body of Niko Belic.
Super Mega Baseball 2 – G3D

A baseball game that has been highly rated on steam.
Profile is in cloud,Check it.
Last thing, it seems like focal offset is what gives the double vision UI around the ball, but the default focal offset in the vorpx profile doesn’t seem optimal. Needs to be more around -0.06 to -0.08 to match the surrounding home environment I believe.
Luckily I havent encountered the filled double vision to the extent that was happening last night, it was filled with color in addition to the typical UI ring around the ball, but I’d recommend updating default profile focal distance. It’s worth the trade off of the double ring
Can’t replicate your issue here, neither with default settings nor with the ‘High FOV’ user settings from the cloud. The screenshot below is vorpX 19.2.2.1 with the ‘High FOV’ user preset. Looks perfectly fine to me, nothing glitchy around the ball at all as far as I can tell.
Please try a factory reset (config app > trouble shooting), also set all game options to default and remove any mods you may be using.
Can’t really recommend anything else without being able to replicate the issue.

So I just copied back an old version of vorpx and turned off autoupdate to test this and it’s working again, So I don’t think it’s the game.
The ball has the same double vision ball outline and old version yes, but the issue is with the new vorpx the double vision outline is completely filled with color so you can’t see anything at all. Hard to explain.
No changes whatsoever to the Rocket League profile. There was another report regarding an outline around the ball two or three weeks ago though. If such glitches appear seemingly out of nowhere it’s typically a game update that breaks shader definitions. Not sure whether I would call something like that ‘unplayable’ :), but I’ll take a look at it.
Please also always try the official profile with default settings if you suddenly encounter a glitch that didn’t exist beore, just in case the glitch is somehow triggered by the custom settings you are using.
With the new update I can’t play properly anymore because the ball has double vision going on. I usually use the profile called high fov on the vorpx cloud profile and it’s been fine for a year and a half.
Is there any way to revert to old version of vorpx in the meantime?

I found something that not right.
I tested Metro 2033, but it doesn’t support positional direct VR.
Am I wrong, or is the chart wrong?
There are no position option in the tab after direct VR scan.
and also movement is not tracking correctly.
And TES IV : Oblivion , position tracking is very good, there is no problem in tracking. but sky ball is moving with my view. that’s only issue I have found so far.
Hi! Just got vorpx today with my rift, and have been loving good old car soccer on it.
So far the most fun i have had has been using the immersive screen with the 3D geometry and the screen pulled so close to my face it takes up most of my frame of view. This provides for a pretty immersive experience, however there isnt the full 360 capability that would really put you in it, which I would assume the Full VR does. However whenever I try this setting its super buggy, and doesnt track my head movement correctly, but rather just kinda moves the screen so that its always straight ahead of me. Totally saddening. The immersive screen mode would be perfect, except i find some depth perception issues throw me off every once in a while, especially on slow balls and particularly difficult aerials. This could probably be adjusted somehow, and does get marginally better without my glasses on, however its hard to see the game as well without my glasses, so kind of a catch 22. If you have found any way to do full Vr, I would LOVE to see that in effect.
Pinball FX2
Probably the best Pinball game for PC ever. Huge ammount of (pay and demo) tables available, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Alien Isolation, Walking Dead, Star Wars and many others. Looking awesone with VorpX.
– optimized for Cinema Modes
– Lower 3D Strength when viewing table very close
– Profile available at the cloud
Some screenshots speak for themselves.

I’m only about a year too early, but lets get the hype ball rollin. If vorpX supports Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out, I might as well have died and gone to heaven. No pressure.
But seriously, you must keep us notified Ralf if you find out any engine details or such which might point to a “maybe” or a “definitely not” as it get closer. With your usual disclaimer of course. ;)

Wow, December post and no support response. I just had this happen in my game just now. An offset white ring circle around the ball. Was there any fix for this?
Today I’m getting flickering artifacts in Rocket League. It suddenly started, and it does appear that Rocket League got a subtle graphics update that may be causing it.
In the outer space ring arena the ball is half black and at a weird unnatural feeling depth that causes eye discomfort. The metro night arena has flickering buildings.
The resolution I am using is 1920×1080. Bloom and motion blur are both on and I feel they actually look good in VR. I also had adjusted the sharpness and color saturation but I don’t have the sharpness setting in front of me and I am not sure where I can pull these settings from while outside of VR. I also need to add that the above settings have been working perfectly for months including the sharpness, color saturation, and aggressive crystal image settings.
@lipplog Also, it seems I screwed up with the head tracking for one specific reason: I actually blasted the game’s mouse sensitivity and forgot I had done so, then adapted my HT sensitivity value to that maximum setting. I do believe your setting is likely correct, although I’ll try to get my profile updated for this properly, along with my instructions document.
After juggling all these possibilities (different versions, different cheat tables, etc) I totally dropped the ball on the mouse sensitivity :D LOL
However the correct value is almost half of what you proposed. After multiple tests I’ve found 0.95 is what it should be at. I’ve updated my cloud profile and my instructions to reflect this.
