Not really the place to post this, but there’s a sale for Elder Scrolls Online ($14.99 on Dlgamer.us) and crowns (40% discount on the official website) up until the 25th.

ESO was my major reason for buying vorpx.
Sorry for being a whiner, but any news for ESO with DX11 renderer?

    Thanks in advance!

Can any htc-vive users confirm whether full-vr works? even through i set fov to max 130. it still extremely zoomed in and unplayable in non-virtual cinema mode. Anyone confirm that?

Is the elder scrolls online working for vive users? In full vr mode, it extremely zoomed-in and unplayable. Is it possible for vorpX to set higher than 130 in-game?

I looked for videos, majority of them are oculus rift not for vive

I’ve been trying to get The Elder Scrolls Online working (in VR, not “cinema view”), but it is looking like a lost cause- the first person camera has a limit of 65 degrees (apparently even the engine tops out at 110), and all of the mentions of 3rd party FOV mods are broken links. Even if you can put up with the nauseatingly narrow FOV, you get slaughtered in combat because you can’t see the danger zones.

Elite: Dangerous is of course gorgeous and immersive right out of the box, but it’s lacking in the compelling content and exciting loot departments, so it gets old pretty fast.

Has someone tried this with a MMORPG that actually works, both for immersive VR and playability?

Hey Hannes, how do you apply a profile for one game, to a different one? I can’t figure out how to do it in the VorpX configuration tool.

I can export the Warhammer End Times profile, but can’t import overtop of The Elder Scrolls Online… I can try add the TESO executables to the Warhammer profile, but it won’t let me since they’re already on the TESO “official” profile. I can’t delete or disable the TESO official profile. If you could write a few explicit instructions on how to do it, I would greatly appreciate it. ^^

Can’t get elder scrolls online to work with Vorpx, crashes to steam vr on the headset but the game keeps going as far as I can tell.

That’s an interesting question. Since Elder Scrolls Online removed DX9 support (it now forces DX11), it no longer has geometry 3D support in VorpX (that I could get to work, anyways). However, it still runs fine on a 3DTV using nvidia 3DTV Play.

I would absolutely love a way to play ESO in 3D in a HMD, that was honestly one of the main reasons I bought the thing.

    Greetings!

First of all, great tool! Had a lot of fun with many games so far.

But it seems that The Elder Scrolls Online is not working in real 3D anymore – I can’t see the Geometry option in the ingame Vorpx settings anymore. The latest Update forces me now to always start in DirectX11, doesn’t matter whether I changed the usersetting file (read only) or put the tag on the exe. Only Z-buffer is available and pardon me, but that is not real 3D and feels very strange.

As far as I can see there is no way to force TESO to DX9 anymore thus making Geometry impossible. Is there anything left i could do? Would be a real pitty to lose the experience with this game.

    Cheers!

Elder Scrolls Online will work for me if I start from the desktopviewer and use the launcher with the 32-bit version. Then you can play on a big virtual screen but you don“t have any 3d.

With today’s update of the Elder Scrolls Online the geometry mode doesn’t seem to work. It worked yesterday. The in game vorpx menu doesn’t show it, just the two Z modes. They work but look about the same as having 3D disabled. Any fix or work around? Thanks.
