Night City has been unusually kind this time around. Due to what I can only call a major wonder just a few adjustments had to be made.

is available. Mainly adds compatibility with Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

    Download

Does the Version alpha 9a support Phantom Liberty, too ?

While I haven’t tried a FIFA game with vorpX for a while, I’d imagine that they might have switched from DX11 to DX12 with FIFA23. Just a guess though. You could try any DX12 profile to check whether at least that way you can get the game showing in the headset.

Profiles you can try for example are: Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, The Last of Us. No 3D-guarantee of course when trying these, but if hooking in general works, you at least know what the culprit was.

Incidentally I have FIFA23 in my Steam library. Don’t have it installed currently, but I’ll look into it.

Phantom Liberty DLC is out !

I will try to get it working with an user Z3D Profile only to have a first short impression for the waiting time, until Ralf releases his big fat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty AFR 3D Mod Update !

No, the mod utilizes the CyberEngineTweaks modding framework, which only ever works with the Cyberpunk version that it was made for. You *might* get away with installing CET for 1.61 over the 1.63 mod. But that’s more likely to fail than it is to succeed.

All good. I was just surprised about the relatively lackluster Steam player count when I checked that yesterday. Still a lot, but I’d imagine that Bethesda hoped for more. Personally I’m a SciFi-head like you guys, so I’m pretty sure I’ll love the game once I get to actually playing it.

The profile will be out within the next few days. *Maybe* later today, but more likely early next week.

Your profile is great for advanced users that don’t mind tinkering, it’s just less well suited for people who want to simply fire up a game. So the official profile mainly adds fully automated setup. No more settings tinkering at all.

I can’t check Cyberpunk 2.0 without an updated CET anyway, which apparently isn’t out yet. Fingers crossed that they didn’t break CET entirely.

    @ Ralf

It seems you are a little bit disappointed about Starfield.

Let’s be honest now, are you still working on a official Starfield Profile, or not ? Because my profile works well, and your short time is better invested in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty Mod ?

You need a profile that matches ! First try Elden Ring and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

After that, step by step all other profiles for games from FROM Software.

The Engine doesn’t really have a name. It’s a somewhat heavily modified version of the PhyreEngine which is a freeware engine provided by Sony with a lot of custom stuff added onto it. They also used Havok for physics in DeS, DS1 and DS2 however that doesn’t seem be the case for BB, DS3, Sekiro and Elden Ring. Sadly there isn’t really much information about it.

But many people say that’s a myth unfortunately !

But you can even try resident evil village, grounded, starfield, cyberpunk77 and Red Dead Redemption. because it is dx12 game in general !

I built myself a little “throne of games” I use daily when gaming.

Hah, “throne of games”! Nice one. Very cyberpunk.

Yes I have been reading everything I can for the past 2 days.

Sorry I am new to this.

I dont have cyber punk 2.0 installed as far as I know as I stopped updates in steam and also read only in the appmanifest_1091500 as suggested online. The 2.0 update has not been installed so the mod should work or is that incorect?

If you suggest this cant be fixed until the work you have mentioned above where can I see updates on progress of the MOD. eg when / if the issues are fixed where can I be updtaed about it and the process of re installing etc.

Appreciate the help and the hard work

Did you actually read anything that I suggested to read above? The mod does not work with Cyberpunk 2.0 yet.

The CET coder(s) need to update CET for CP2077 2.0, and on top of that I *may* also have to update the mod itself if the CP2077 update breaks more than just CET.

Hi Ralf. Thanks so much for your help. I dont think I have downloaded the update. I have tried everything I have found online and disabled updates etc n steam and via files. See below –

    – Install Cyberpunk 2077 and turn of updates.

    – Turn on read only in appmanifest_1091500

    – Dropped CyberEngineTweaks-1.25.2

    – Swapped the bin folder x64

    – Turned off overlays

Nothing seems to work now. Earlier everything worked but the veiwport was in a rectangle. Now nothing works at all. I have deleted and uninstalled 10 times but nothing.

I think the Game Settings sub forum is the best place for posts like that. Just create a new one when the profile is ready. Won’t take long anymore.

    BTW:

Personally I really like the game, at least the bits I saw so far. Judging from the player count on Steam Starfield isn’t quite the success that everyone hoped it would be though. Way less max players than Fallout 4 when it came out 2015. Only about a third of what super hits like Cyberpunk or Elden Ring recently had on launch. Heck, even Hogwart’s Legacy fared a lot better earlier this year, who would have predicted that…

Even considering a fair amount of extra players via Gamepass that doesn’t look too great for a huge Bethesda RPG in 2023. Still a title that deserves some extra attention, of course.

On the upside: at least that way they won’t get funny ideas about a Starfield 2 before returning to Elder Scrolls. :)
