cypherlockParticipantJust downloaded the update. Now when I start VorpxControl I get the message “Please Start the Vorpx Control before using vorpx shortcuts”. I click ok but the VorpxControl never starts. I rebooted and still same issue.

philthy77Participantno update i’ve heard of. I was only able to get bf3 running at work by going to ALT_tab etc.. and it worked twice. Since then no games worked on my machine. Do you close or extend your display configs of your rift..For unity engin some games will only work in extended displays. i wonder if it’s the same problem you got

RalfKeymasterUnfortunately that’s not possible. But your Fallout 3 problem can be solved. You have to disable the gamepad in Fallouts game options, and then use ‘Handle gamepads internally’. That should do the trick.
Unfortunately the current vorpX version has a bug that prevents you from remapping the gamepad buttons. That will be solved with the first update in a few days.
Hope that helps.

RalfKeymasterUpdates are issued automatically, similar to Steam updates. As soon as an update is available it will be downloaded when you start vorpX Control.

Nov 10, 2013 at 6:49pm #11467In reply to: Fallout New Vegas Help
RalfKeymasterHi ScarletSpirit,
Please make sure that you do not have any d3d9.dll in your Fallout NV folder (for example from an ENB mod), which conflicts with vorpX.
If you create shortcuts, you should create them for the main .EXE, not the launcher. In case of New Vegas that would be FalloutNV.exe.
If that doesn’t help: There are problems with Steam, which affect seemingly random games on different machines. Maybe that’s the case here. This is being worked on and will be fixed (hopefully in all cases) with the next update, due sometime next week.
Hope, that helps.

paul_b_30ParticipantRalf, many thanks for the update. Can you already indicate when the update will be released? In general: how do we know when an update has become available? Is this mentioned on the website somewhere? Thanks. Kind regards, Paul

pac0masterParticipantany update yet? i sill have quite a lot of problem.
Nov 5, 2013 at 4:54pm #11435In reply to: Call of Duty Ghosts
RalfKeymasterI will take a look at it as soon as Steam finishes downloading.
Update:
The bad news: the current release version of vorpX doesn’t work. The good news: you will only have to wait a few days since the current dev version works fine, including (Z-Buffer-)3D. In other words: the next update will include the neccessary changes and a profile for COD:Ghosts.
Nov 3, 2013 at 11:26am #11420In reply to: How to disable mouse cursor?
RalfKeymasterThe voprX cursor automatically replaces the so called ‘hardware cursor’ that is used in many games, which wouldn’t show up properly in the Rift.
In (very) few games that has the unwanted side effect that it shows up when it is not supposed to. A hotkey for manually disabling/enabling it in such cases will be added in a future update (most likely the next).

RalfKeymasterGuys,
Before you do something like that you might want to wait a few days. BF4 works just fine with the current dev build, including (Z-Buffer) 3D.
A lot of effort in the last weeks went into resolving semi random arcane DRM issues. There are a few things to be done until the update is ready for release, it will available soon.
