i have had VorpX for about a year now and only use it for Cinema mode.. find full VR just has to many random issues for me to play a game like that.. but cinema mode with G3D is great
only supported games with profiles will launch in the HMD.. for some you can copy profiles of other games if it uses the same graphics engine but doesn’t always work
I tried – it just plays on a big screen in front of me. I used the new version of Vorpx expecting it to be in actual VR.. I think I may have misunderstood Vorpx completely. But I get the same effect from the virtual desktop, so I may just use that.
also only games that say FullVR support put you completely in the game.. try bioshock or dishonered 1 to see how that works in VorpX.. most third person games youll want to play on a giant screen with 3d injected

VorpX injects 3D for games that support it.. Virtual Desktop does not actually inject any 3D into a game.. make sure geometry 3D is selected..
anyone else playing witcher 3 in G3D has this issue ?
i didnt install it yet, i’m just curious.what version have you btw ? steam ? gog ?
using steam version.. it isn’t game breaking after running around for a bit just a tad annoying in spots.. actually prefer to just play this one with Z-3D.
played a bit more.. it isn’t terrible.. like rocks near grass seems to make one look like it’s floating over the other.. and at certain parts grass is floating above the terrain and some elevated terrain looks like it’s floating above the ground when turning the camera.. personally just prefer to play this on Z-3D
still issues with terrain in lot of areas, sort of feels like parts are floating above other parts.. if i turn 3d strength down to like .30 it’s fine but of course not much of a 3d effect..
Terrain was all crazy right at the start after the intro srquence when you first fight the drowners.. will ride a bit away and see how it goes
Hellblade, Ori, INSIDE, Witcher 3(only in Z-3D as G3D is to buggy), ABZU, Trine 1 and 2 all work great.. about to re-test Outlast and installing Slender right now
This is a funny post to run into the day I am coming back to Vorpx after a long break. Now I will try to be patient and wait.
same haven’t used it in about 6 months or so but curious to try a few of the newer games with G3D like Hellblade
