Standalone mod seems to be working. But for the HUD, you can try the mod HUDitor
beemzyParticipantHI Ralf,
If you had to make a guess, do you think that your CP2077 standalone mod will be able to be updated to work with the Phantom Liberty DLC some time after its launch?
Thx!beemzyParticipant@mr_spongeworthy is it perhaps hardware specific? I’ve had HAGS on but I’ve only been playing CP2077 (VorpX Standlone Mod) and HL2 VR Mod. These titles (fortunately) dont seem to be affected
Seems only the updated CET needed for my CP2077 setup so VR working again. Unfortunately, turning on DLSS3 crashes the game (which is DirectVR) and doesnt allow it to start again without manually turning DLSS3 off by a direct edit to the the ini file
beemzyParticipantSo DLSS3 just adds flickering? Pity, I had hoped it would increase FPS
I didnt know HAGS was incompatible with VR, what does it do that’s incompatible? Is it detrimental to VR performance to have it on? And is it a general problem or an issue specific to certain graphics cars?
beemzyParticipantFor those with mods req redscript, need to wait for a redscript update too
beemzyParticipantCET update has been released on the github page (see Ralf’s comment above) and also:
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107?tab=filesbeemzyParticipantAfter installing the new DLSS3 patch (actually it also has some game bug fixes so most people will want to download this eventually), my VR has stopped working and default view is pancake. If I try to activate the new Frame Gen feature then the game crashes out about 1 sec after the VorpX Mod start screen shows.
Author of CET, awpsoleet, says an update will be forthcoming as soon as awpsoleet has time. Will this fix the VR?
Secondly, any ideas on the Frame Gen and how to get that to work or is it not compatible with VorpX Mod?
beemzyParticipantLatest Quest 2 update is causing issues for me. Game is stuttering and has periodic freezes. Anyone else experiencing this?
beemzyParticipantOnly issue now is none of the motion controller buttons work. I can see the virtual controller in game, but pressing buttons do nothing. Anyone who knows a possible fix, feel free to let me know
Maybe check you dont have any drivers or settings which might interfere eg STEAM controller settings or trackball or keypad controller driver (similar issues have been raised in the forums which were resolved this way); I disable Marblescroll before launching game. You can switch to KB/Mouse option in the interim to get started which limits gestures useable (throw grenades wont work and steering maps to keypresses rather than analog motion)
beemzyParticipantTry moving [CP2077]\bin\x64\plugins\vpxCP2077.asi to another folder (or change file ext name eg rename to “vpxCP2077.asiDISABLED”
Havent done this in a while but this is what I wrote in my own notes on this
beemzyParticipantJust in case: did you by any chance change the motion controller mode to keyboard/mouse? if so, please reset it back do gamepad. Steering should feel quite natural normally. When a keyboard is emulated however, steering is pretty much digital. Just as steering with an actual keyboard.
Ah yes, you are right. I changed to the KB/M so I could have customised controls (which even enables me to use hack heavy style of play when I want; not so easy with the default gamepad settings). Unfortunately for me, I find the default gamepad settings unusable.
There does not seem to be a way to make the same custom layout when in gamepad mode? If this is the case then it would be fantastic if in future you could implement a shortcut key so that it’s possible to toggle between KB/M and gamepad mode. Or even better a setting so that whenever you enter/exit a vehicle the control scheme would automatically toggle. Don’t know how feasible that is but it is high on my wish list!
I recommend everyone to try the gesture steering (which requires gamepad mode). It is indeed very good and adds extra immersion! Hopefully, there will be a way to more easily toggle on/off this excellently implemented feature
beemzyParticipantOn the standalone mod, there is a gesture for driving. I find the Quest 2 is not sensitive to small movements (like a real car) but only recognises larger movements, but within the game this translates to a big turn of the steering wheel. It would be good if there is a way to fine tune and adjust the sensitivity of the driving gesture (so that a relatively larger gesture movement is interpreted in the game as a smaller movement – this would compensate for the relative lack of sensitivity in the Quest 2 for this type of movement)
beemzyParticipantThat’s good to know, thanks. And raises an interesting point. So when you release the next version of the standalone mod, will there be a way to keep the user’s existing personal settings?
beemzyParticipantI mean is it possible to save the settings as a separate backup file? This way if I need to reinstall the game then I can reload my settings from before
eg would copying the .vpa and .ini files in: [Cyberpunk 2077]\bin\x64\plugins\vpxCP2077\Data\
be one way to make a backup of the settings?BTW I am loving the gestures, they are really the next best thing to 6DOF interactions
beemzyParticipantIs it possible to save the user’s vorpx menu settings (for CP2077 standalone mod)?
