Right, worked for me using 23.1.5. Not with the free Cyberpunk mod version.

Hi robernd, Im currently using the standalone free mod for Cyberpunk 2077 although I do own VorpX too. When you use 23.1.5, does the Metro work in full VR too (the view glitches to one eye for me)? Thx

Hi Ralf, I think there is a bug in the Dogtown mission called “I’ve Seen That Face Before”. The player has to hide in the trunk of the car before taking control. At this point the player needs to drive the car to a target location, However, the player viewpoint is stuck within the trunk and it is not possible to switch cameras to see the road so that driving is possible

I had to switch to disable VorpX and switch to normal 2D to complete this mission. When you take control of the car the camera switches automatically to the driving view so that you drive the car to the mission destination. In VorpX the view is stuck inside the trunk of the car

during my short test 2.11 worked. Sadly still with the black bar problem for Quest 3 owners.

Thanks for confirming. Did you see any increase/decrease in FPS and/or general performance?

Has anyone tried the new 2.11 update, does it work with the existing VorpX mod (with updated CET which has been released)? Thx!

Hi Ralf, CD Projekt Red has announced another update for Cyberpunk which should arrive very soon. If/when you update the mod, I would like to request/hope you can have fixes for the following: floating markers, Metro (where VR stops working when you board the metro) and enabling motion controllers for VorpX Settings Menu (currently can only use keyboard to change settings)

    Thanks!

    Ralf

AS well as the “Metro still has the one eye thing… ” as pointed out by Silicon McCain, the other thing to follow-up on later would be the markers which are anchored to the player POV instead of being fixed to the object it should be attached to eg yellow/red markers for enemy NPC’s

Thankfully not game-breaking though. The recent update makes the game playable in VR

    Merry Christmas!

That’s great news Ralf, look forward to it, thanks!

Not sure if there is a fix for this but in the first meeting with Solomon Reed, you have to take a car ride with him and this cutscene is rendered in 2D. However, in other car rides such as with River, I seem to recall that it was all in VR. Would be excellent if there is a way to make the Solomon ride in VR

I have same problems as mateuszw1995

In my case entering a car glitches the display and then the game freezes and I have to use task manager to terminate CP2077

Upgrading CET resolves the issue, thanks for the tip.

Now to look for decent-ish settings that reduce the jittery/blurryness.

Very much depends on your PC specs. If you have lots of VRAM then getting 4k textures can help a lot (from Nexus Mods). HD Reworked Project Ultra Quality by Halk Hogan, XilaMonstrr’s 4k textures, Alternative Skin Materials, Keen’s NPC textures, etc will give a great visual boost with no FPS loss and significant reduction in ghosting/halo’ing. A lot of these have 2k versions available too

    Hi,

Im unable to run the vr mod with the latest update 2.1 as it says it isn’t compatible. Any plans to update in the near future?

Have you tried updating CET (via Nexus Mods). That can work. Havent had time to update CP2077 and try for myself yet

Not sure if I understand te problem. Normally using the controller buttons shiuld work just as using keys, i.e. a key is registered as down as long as you press the button.

Also also not sure why you want to use the keyboard emulation in the first place. The mod works perfectly fine with the default gamepad emulation.

I had wanted to be able to simulate a long press of the V-key using the VorpX Hotkey Settings Menu. If I set one of the hot keys as ‘V’, when I aim at or choose this by looking at it, the simulated press if a short-press of ‘V’.

I’m very much a PC gamer and used to playing with my own custom key bindings. The gamepad emulation is very functional but I can’t customise it to my preferences. It used to be that I could use the motion controller to change from keyboard emulation to gamepad emulation when driving. Unfortunately, I cant seem to do that anymore and need to use a mouse to control the on-screen VorpX menu (a re-install of VorpX did not fix the issue for me)

Ralf, is there any way to set a long-press of a key in the hotkey menu? eg long-press ‘V’ used to make your car selection

I use it to make custom keyboard and hot key bindings. I will try a mod reinstall with default settings as you suggest
