Participantso one could use the command +r_rhirenderfamily d3d11 to force dx11 and run it using a quake profile?

ParticipantIt’s true, and the stand alone mods for RE2r RE3r re7 and re8 (made by praydog), are quite impressive (though re7/8 are still in the experimental stage). They are also Open Source, so maybe some of the code could be used in vorpx as well? I don’t know that works exactly.. just my two cents

Participantpop up window in vorpx to upvote/downvote a particular profile, more people would be more like to participate than the current method where you have to import a profile, then later if you think about it, go back to cloud profiles and search it out to upvote. Then the number of upvotes/downvotes could qualify a profile based on percentage of upvotes to downvotes.
Just an idea

Participantsame with the Shader Vertex – 33 except removes hair completely
Pixel – 66 seems to be related.. which is also the skinCrackerBrand00
ParticipantShader: Pixel 58 seems to remove the “dead pixels” but also turns everyone’s hair black

ParticipantGreat G3D profile! In case anyone is curious about the performance, with a geforce 2080 and hp reverb g2 I get near 60fps in 1080p with the low texture detail settings. around 40ish with high texture detail (necessary if you can/want read the Japanese Kanji on signs and things). Make sure to put shadow detail on low for a small performance boost.
Unplayable in 4k
I recommend turning the 3d settings Off and clicking Ok&Save so that it’s off by default, and then once you get into the game manually turning it on to avoid the Load game Crashing. Also I find the 3d to be better in Cinema mode.
I see what you mean about the dead pixels during the cut scene, right over the faces.. a bit distracting but not a deal breaker(closing one eye often helps). Thanks for the work to get this running in G3D

Participantthank you!

Participantfrom what I’ve read, some guy named PrayDog is working on a VR mod for RE2r RE3r RE7 and RE8: Village, so maybe he’s found some trick for G3D to work in this one.. why i’m waiting to play this

ParticipantClustertruck (yes that’s the name)
would be incredible. Steam sale right now 12/26/21 for under $4CrackerBrand00
ParticipantI’m reading RE Village requires dx11 so is there not a command line to force it like some other dx12 games?

ParticipantYes merry christmas. VorpX may just be a product to some, but it means a lot to me. Had a pretty bad accident that left me somewhat disabled. I can’t travel like I used to. So this is a very important product to me, because I feel like I can really get lost in other worlds and made gaming exciting for me again. So thank you
CrackerBrand00
Participantgreat find! will try to get a g3d profile up and uploaded over xmas break.. appreciate you all and esp ralpf.. I believe the Z3d works and my eyes or brain is just incapable of perceiving it because the game “world” seems deeper than the edges of the playing field, my brain just can’t do it. Thanks all and merry xmas.. we’ll work together and find what we can find… god bless ralf and all of our VorpX family who continue the work!

Participantgot it working after a few tries.. think it’s a WMR issue. they’re kind of screwy. Can’t really tell if it’s 3d, but maybe that’s because I’m used to running things in in G3d? Either way, thanks for the profile

ParticipantThere’s a profile from Picdelag, but I just get a black screen with that

Participant*standing ovation*
