ParticipantTried that but still doesn’t work. (Using windows defender)
After a few (3-4) restarts of VorpX, and restarts of steamVR, sometimes I can get it to the point that it will get past the steam access denied error, but it still just crashes on the logo splash screens while loading.
More info:
I’m just running the game using steam. If it ever gets past the access denied error, it tells me its non-vr, etc, and I say ok, and it brings up the game launcher, then I launch it.The weird thing is, I was able to actually play the game a bit yesterday once. Out of about 30 tries. The only thing I did was reset the profile. But that no longer does anything.

ParticipantAh, you are correct sir.

ParticipantRalf, not sure how hard it is, but one request on Andromeda. If you are able, please put a FOV adjustment in, or let me know how to do that manually.
Let me know if you think that’s possible. Thanks!
dborosev
ParticipantHows the FOV on this? Playing first person games are hard if the FOV is too high and not adjustable.

ParticipantRalf, the immersive screen thing sounds good. But please keep the option to be able to set things up manually too. I like being able to tweak certain things for certain games.

ParticipantI use Cinema mode to play almost all my VorpX games. It kicks ass if you set it up right. Zoom in right up close, set the 3d to around 1.3. Its like looking into a 3D world through a window you are sitting right up inside. Use a decently high FOV.

ParticipantNoted for future reference regarding 3rd person games.
And thats ***AWESOME*** about ME:A! Great to hear Ralf!! Can’t wait to try it out.
Love the great work you are doing on VorpX. I tell people about it every chance I get. Its seriously been the best part about VR since I picked it up a year ago.Cheers!

ParticipantBTW, if Andromeda isn’t too hard to add, that would be cool in the next release.
Maybe a FOV setting for splinter cell blacklist as well.dborosev
ParticipantShadows look good in Fallout 4. Nice improvement.

ParticipantFar cry 4 works fine for me.

ParticipantDying light: I actually (sort-of) ran it once about a year ago. I remember getting some sort of 3D effect too. Don’t remember how though.
Now, if I try, it crashes as well.
Maybe try playing with the profiles a bit to see if one works.dborosev
ParticipantJust play it in full VR man. So good.

ParticipantNice work. Might have to check that out. I play most games in Cinema, so I’ve been jonesing for a good top-down adventure or RTS.

ParticipantAfter much trial and error, I figured it out. It seems that it must be run at 1920×1080 for it to work. Using anything else, and it doesn’t. I usually use 1600×1200, which works for everything. But apparently not here.
A while ago, someone mentioned that they did get andromeda working, which gave me hope that maybe my solution might work for that, but it doesn’t.

Participant@Steph12,
Jesus dude, you are such a hypocrite. You were all on my case for asking about ME:A updates a couple of times, and now here you are… again… bugging ralf about games that have only been out a week. Whats this, your third time?
Eat the sh!t you shovel dude.PS: you know whats funny? You are me should be on the same team. I’d love to see those games too, along with many others. But you had to be such an asshat in the forums, you reap what you sow.
