Not really the place to post this, but there’s a sale for Elder Scrolls Online ($14.99 on Dlgamer.us) and crowns (40% discount on the official website) up until the 25th.
kurryParticipantI’ve been holding off playing off playing since DK2 days just because I really wanted to experience it in Vorpx :)
Thanks for the effort Ralf!kurryParticipantBump for this as well.
This is the one game I really want to play in G3D.Oct 13, 2016 at 6:08am in reply to: How do i setup vorpX to use with euro/american truck sim? #111873kurryParticipantDo you have an Oculus or Vive?
If you have an Oculus then I believe the launch options has to be -oculus not -openvrkurryParticipantNice, I just came here to ask the same thing :)
This will be great if it can help a little with Vorpx performance.kurryParticipantI haven’t played this in a while, but maybe you can try changing the FOV
Alien Isolation: How to change FOV above 75
This will allow you change the FOV higher than the games default max of 75.
1. Locate the ENGINE_SETTINGS.XML file in the games files which can be found in Steam\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\DATA
2.Open the ENGINE_SETTINGS.XML file in Notepad and find the following line of text <Setting name=Field Of View>
3. Directly under <Setting name=Field Of View> in the file, add the following text <Quality name=90 float=90.0 precedence=8/> You can change the number 90 to which ever FOV value you want.
4. After you have finished adding FOV options, you will need to save the file by either using File>Save or pressing CTRL+S.
Note: If you want to add more FOV options in the file, you will need to change the precedence number to one higher than the number before.
kurryParticipantI ended up just playing the original version of the game.
The original version wasn’t working when I first tried a few months back, but
it seems to work now :)
I’ve watched a few comparison videos and I don’t think the remaster has changed that much, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
Thanks for the response.kurryParticipantI also had this problem with Deus Ex.
It’s an odd solution but I solved it by starting the game and whenever
I noticed lag I would exit and then restart it.kurryParticipantThe FOV doesn’t expand when I play it using Vorpx.
I’m not sure what settings the YouTube videos are using.kurryParticipantThanks Ralf, I spent about an hour playing this in VR :)
The FOV feels a little off, but other than that it runs
really well on my 980ti.
I have shadows and reflections on low, and everything else on medium.kurryParticipantAny news? I’m dying to play Elder Scrolls Online in Geometry 3D :)
kurryParticipantThanks for the help!
I got the steam controller working by choosing “Keyboard and Mouse” in the Steam Controller setup.
I was unable to move my character in game until, I configured the movement in Fallout game options menu.kurryParticipantAny news on geometry 3D for this game? :)
kurryParticipantI’ve reset the game a couple of times, change resolutions, turned different graphic settings on and off. I even downloaded the non directors cut version (which has the same fps issue)
I also get low fps in z-buffer mode after 10min of playing, when using DX11.
I’ll probably just play using in DX9, even though it’s not 3d.kurryParticipantI’m having the same problem with Deus Ex, I have a 980ti and only get 11fps in DX11.
Has anyone found a solution for this? -
